Disney Rescuers: Ariel on The Run

Chapter 3:Going on a Quest!

Back at the Lightfoot's house, Isabela was cooking breakfast for Ian and Barley since their mother was with the Manticore at a convention. Ian suddenly saw how depressed his older brother was and tried to cheer him up.
"Barley, we know you're upset, and don't worry we'll find Ariel soon."
Barley suddenly spoke up."But Ian, we don't even know where she is."

"Don't you guys remember?" said Isabela."We were in Nickelodeon Resorts when we found Ariel's bag, so there's a possibility that she's still there somewhere."

"Oh no." said Ian."Don't tell me we're going back there. It's literally 5 hours away." Isabela was finished cooking she then washed her hands."Mi amor, what choice do we have?" she said.

Barley sighs as he got up from the table, went to living room then cut on the TV. As he was flipping through the channels, Barley suddenly stopped on the news channel. A fish named, Perch Perkins, was talking about Poseidon's wedding.

"This is Perch Perkins coming to you live from The Lost City of Atlantic City. I'm standing on the strip outside Poseidon's Palace and Casino, where Poseidon has found his new queen, Princess Ariel."

As soon as Barley saw Ariel on the TV, he quickly got up from the couch. Ian and Isabela were surprised too.

"Ariel!" They all said in unison.

"In a related story, Poseidon's palace will be hosting the annual wedding ceremony of His Majesty King Poseidon and Princess Ariel within 3 days.It's a fun filled family event for everyone..."

As Perch Perkins continued talking on the TV, The three friends were relieved that Ariel was okay.
"Now we know where Ariel is!" said Ian.
"Oh, I'm so glad she's alright." said Barley who was relieved.
"Now we just need to get back to Nickelodeon Studios, ask for directions to the Lost City of Atlantic City, and rescue Ariel." Isabela explained.

"I'm on it." said Ian as he found his laptop in his room and brought it back to the living room. Ian began to type "The Lost City of Atlantic City" in the search bar and an article popped up as he read it out loud, Isabela and Barley stood behind him looking at the laptop screen.

"Found it." said Ian."Made famous by the glitzy palace Poseidon, calls home. The Lost City of Atlantic City is a scary, vice-ridden, cesspool of moral depravity."

"Wow. All that and it's lost too?" said Barley.
"What else does it say?" Isabela asked.

Ian scrolled down and continued reading."King Poseidon has proven himself a whimsical tyrant, known for executing  his subjects by beheading them in a flamboyant floor show extravaganza?!"

"What?!" Barley said shocked.
"Dios mío." said Isabela who was getting shivers down her spine.
Ian continued reading."Our advice for those traveling here is...Don't." Ian finished."This King Poseidon sounds like a tough guy."

"So what if he's tough?" said Isabela."It's bad enough that this punk kidnapped our best friend, but when he forces her to be his wife, that's where I cross the line!"

"You're right Isabela! Let's go!" said Barley as he got his backpack.

"Uh, does the word 'executing' not mean anything to you guys?" Ian said with fear in his voice.

"Ian, we have to go back and save Ariel. Otherwise, she's gonna end up marrying a sea king." said Isabela.

Ian sighed to himself, because he knew he was outnumbered."Okay. Let's go save Ariel."

With that, the trio packed their stuff and got in Barley's van. They made a quick stop at a local gas station before they set off on their journey back to Nickelodeon Studios.

As Ian filled the tank, Barley looked through the bags outside of the car."Where did I put my... Aha!" Barley pulled out a map.

When they were back on the road again, Ian suddenly said."So, how exactly are we going to find the Lost City of Atlantic City?"

"I still have this old map." said Barley."Now, we look for something called, 'Raven's Point."
"Wrong map, Barley." Ian chuckled slightly at his brother.

"Dang it." said Barley."I knew I should have gotten the GPS."

Isabela suddenly had an idea."Why don't we just ask some of the characters once we get back to Nickelodeon Studios?"

"Not a bad idea!" Barley said."They'll help us locate Poseidon's palace. They're familiar with this whole world."
"And if they don't, we'll just make them help us." said Ian jokingly.
Ian chuckled under his breath. "I'm kidding." he said while Barley gave him a side glance, laughing.

With that, the trio made their way out of OhMyDisney.com and began their journey back to Nickelodeon Studios.
