He tapped his fingers while he could feel his servants doing his makeup. Another was doing his manicure, one was doing his hair and 2 other is preparing his attire.
This was it. The engagement party is tonight. And it is also the night where Kunikuzushi becomes property of Snezhnaya.
"The prince would look better in dark red and black!" His servant argued.
"No, he would look better in white and ocean blue!" The other barked back.
"You two, please! Not in front of his highness!"
"Let the prince decide what he wants to wear." The servant that was doing his manicure said.
"Red and black" He answered while having his eyes closed as the servant has requested.
"Hah! Take that!" The one that chose red and black cheered. The other one grumbled.
"No time to waste! The prince is almost done with his make up!"
In Kunikuzushi's opinion, it was pure chaos. The only one he seemed bearable was the servant holding a big bowl of berries, kneeling still and quietly.
He wondered what his fiance was dealing with on the other side.

"No no no! You should go with a different hairstyle!" Pantalone brsuhed his hair to the side.
"Meh, he looked better when his hair is in it's usual style." Signora voiced out her opinion.
"Your opinion doesn't matter, Signora. What matters is that you shut your chatterbox of a mouth!"
"Oi! Respect your superiors, Regrator!"
"Can both of you please stop it?" Pulcinella sighed. The old man turned to a subordinate that was standing beside them.
"Go prepare Lord Tartaglia's suit" he ordered the subordinate. They bowed down and walked away to another room, sliding the door close.
"Now, let's go with the side way hairstyle. He looks more mature and screams royalty" Pantalone made a chef kiss gesture.
"Can you hurry up? I've been sitting here for like 2 hours now." Childe complained.
"Yea, yea just shut up and we'll get to it" Signora rolled her eyes as she applied make up to cover his imperfections.
"Ugh, finally! Damn, that took a lot of make up" Signora threw the make up away.
"And his hair used up half of my hair gel" Pantalone closes the container of hair gel.
"Sorry?" Childe wasn't even sure if he was genuinely sorry or not.
"Hey, the officials of the other nations phave probably start arriving by now." Signora looked outside. It was already dark.
"Then you shall get going now, Ajax" Pulcinella put both of his hands on his cane.
"Yea, I'm going now." Childe walked out of the room and walked away.
The subordinate that was standing outside immediately bowed in respect and guided him to where he will be entering the ballroom.
He saw the prince standing there with a servant. He eyes the prince up and down. The prince was wearing a kimono which is not like a normal kimono.
His sleeves dragged on the floor, the one of his kimono is probably a few metres from him and he was wearing a hairpin tucked in his bun which covered it in a black see-through veil.
He was stunning.
The servant that was with Kunikuzushi bowed down upon seeing his arrival. The little prince turned around and got a good look of the ginger.
His eyes widened at the outfit. He was wearing a royal blue suit with a white cape covering one of his shoulders and he was wearing his military badges.
He looked like a true leader.
"Have you wait long?" Childe asked after stopping in front of the prince.
Kunikuzushi crossed his arm and huffed. "Too long"
The servant wanted to say it was only a 2 minutes wait but didn't after remembering the prince once beheaded someone for speaking back to him.
"Forgive me for my mistake, prince." He offered his arm for the prince to take.
Kunikuzushi hummed. "I expect another apology after this." He said as took the arm and leaned onto it.
"Presenting, the royal pairing! Her royal highness Princess Kunikuzushi of Inazuma and his highness Crown prince Ajax of Snezhnaya!"
The royal guards announced and slided the gigantic door open.
Princess?? Childe thought to himself, confused.
Ei, Makoto, Mei and the Tsaritsa was standing at the very end waiting for them.
"Big brother!" He could hear his little brother cheered as he saw Childe walked down to greet the royal family.
"Prince Teucer! Please behave yourself!"
Teucer hid behind Tonia's dress.
They both climbed up some stairs and seperated from each other to stand beside their families. Childe almost wanted to ask Kunikuzushi to come back.
"This night is a special night!" Makoto started her speech.
"As you all know, my niece" again with the female pronounces? "Have recently gotten engaged with the Crown Prince Of Snezhnaya"
"Tonight will be the celebration of two nations engagement!" Makoto raised her glass and the other guests did as she did.
"Kuniku, go stand with the prince" Makoto gave him a small ouch towards the direction of the Snezhnayan prince.
Kunikuzushi didn't say anything as he made his way to the royal family of Snezhnaya.
He stood beside the prince and he could feel the other resting his hand on his waist.
Some servants offered some wine and they all grabbed one except for Mei and Ajax's younger siblings.
"Ajax, you truly have gotten lucky! I heard your beloved here has beheaded many for asking her for her hand in marriage!" His older sister Alynn said.
"Yes, I suppose she just couldn't stand my charm" Childe said smugly.
He still couldn't understand why they were referring Kunikuzushi as a woman.
"Big brother is going to marry this pretty lady?" A boy that almost looked the exact same as Ajax tugged on his sleeve.
"Teucer, carefully now" Anthon put a hand to his little brother's head.
"Come now little Nightingale, introduce yourself" Ajax looked at Kunikuzushi and gave him a reassuring smile.
Little Nightingale....?
He gave a polite smile and in a ladylike voice "I am Kunikuzushi of Inazuma, please welcome me with open arms"
