Freefall // Hyunlix

My World

It had been 13 hours since Hyunjin left the hospital and he had never felt more excited in his life. Right now, in this very second, he was in the car on a date with Felix. His BOYFRIEND! Hyunjin couldn't be happier- he was on top of the world.

<Hyunjin POV>

I couldn't help but smile, today was a great day. I was free, I was on a date with a man that means the world to me and I hadn't had a single negative thought. I couldn't help but steal glimpses of the beauty that was sitting next to me. Felix was wearing a pair of tight blue jeans accompanied with a white oversized shirt and a denim jacket. He wore a gorgeous silver necklace and I could help but notice his prominent freckles glistening on his honey skin. Every inch of the boy was perfect.

A warm hand slithered into my own as our car raced down the highway. I gripped it tightly as I felt its warmth. Goosebumps shot across my entire body, butterflies danced gracefully around the edge of my stomach. I could never let go of this feeling. Oh the things he does to me.

Around 20 minutes later, a small black blindfold was placed over my eyes. Everything went into darkness as my vision was obscured, I could feel myself being manoeuvred out of the car and onto some concrete. I could hear something open and close before I heard the car drive away again. We were alone.

A small hand grabbed onto my arm and pulled me in a random direction. I leaned into its embrace, inhaling his sweet honey smell, my angel is so perfect. I can feel him leading me somewhere as the terrain underneath us changed, the smooth concrete being replaced with luscious grass. I could smell nature, the clean country air was doing wonders for me. Everything was encapsulated perfectly when the blindfold was taken off and I was met with the epicentre of my world, Felix.

We stood in an enchanting green forest, there were tall oak trees as far as the eye could see, deep green grass shot out of the ground and the pebble path was littered with various brightly coloured flowers. Even in the beauty around me, I couldn't help but notice how my angel shone. How his smile made me so happy. His eyes shone under the prominent sunset, his gorgeous purple hair waving freely.

Situated to our left was a spotted picnic blanket filled with all our favourite snacks and some of Lee Know's world famous beef wellington! I must remember to thank my members when I get back to the dorms. I plopped down on the blanket with a smile and I watched as Felix sat himself next to me, fidgeting to get closer to me. I could see how nervous he was for this date and how he so desperately wanted everything to go right.
