𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗬 - Sae Itoshi x Reader

I

𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 on her. She had to land from the human pyramid safely and steadily or else the move could go wrong.

The (h/c) haired girl took a deep breath then jumped, doing two front flips and landing on her two teammates' hands as they held her tightly.

Followingly, the coach and the rest of the cheerleading team cheered. "Good job girls, if we continue at this rate, we could win nationals!" Coach Hiroshi exclaimed.

(Y/n) smiled as beads of sweat fell down her face, proud of herself. "You did it!" (Y/n)'s best friend Akari exclaimed. "Thanks, Akari!" She stated as she embraced the girl.

Akari and (Y/n) have known each other since middle school. The two were inseparable as they overcame countless situations together. It was about two years ago when they both decided to join the cheerleading team together.

"Okay girls, that's enough for today, don't forget to practice for the upcoming nationals. (L/n), proceed with cool down stretches." Coach stated. "Yes, coach." 

The nine cheerleaders along with the five substitutes formed a circle around (Y/n) as she led them through stretches.

After they finished, everyone began to leave the field.

Suddenly, (Y/n) felt a pair of hands ruffle her hair. She turned around to be met with her favorite teal eyes.

"Hey, Sae." She greeted. "You did good," Sae spoke as they walked alongside each other. "You saw?" (Y/n) smiled. "Yeah, our football practice is in the same field as yours after all." Sae continued.

"I'm pretty nervous about nationals coming up. What about you?" (Y/n) asked. "I'm not gonna lie, it's gonna be challenging, but we'll get through it," Sae answered.

As they arrived at (Y/n)'s household, they both bid farewell to each other as Sae continued to walk to his home.

(Y/n) sat frustratedly at the sheet of paper placed in front of her. It was a history test that (Y/n) had issues with. However, before the time ended, she successfully filled out the sheet and then handed it to her teacher.

As she headed to the cafeteria, someone called out to her. "(Y/n)!" The voice belonged to Akari. "Hey Akari! How'd you do in your test?" (Y/n) asked.

"I did well, but that's not the point," Akari answered. "You know how nationals is coming up soon? I just found out that one of the soccer players from the other team is Oliver Aiku." Akari explained.

"Oliver Aiku.. your ex?" (Y/n) muttered as her friend nodded. 

Oliver Aiku used to be Akari's boyfriend until they ended things after he cheated on her claiming that he never loved her.

"If he ever tries anything, I'll be by your side." (Y/n) commented. "Thank you," Akari embraced the (h/c) haired female. "I don't know what I could've done without you."

"Now, let's go to practice." Akari smiled as the pair started heading to the field.

After finishing warm-ups, all cheerleaders huddled up.

"Okay girls, nationals is in two weeks, so we have to work harder and perfect our moves before then to make Kyōto, our school, proud." Coach Hiroshi explained as the cheerleading squad nodded.

Across the field, a boy with teal eyes couldn't help but stare at his friend. 

"Yo, Sae!" Shidou Ryusei called out, but he noticed him busy looking at something else or... someone.

He followed Sae's line of vision noticing that Sae was staring at a girl who was performing cartwheels. "Don't tell me you like that girl!" Shidou exclaimed.

"What. Stop being an idiot." Sae stated, coming out of his trance. "Whatever you say." Shidou chuckled noticing Sae denying his claims.

The boys continued to perform some passes and recievings, practicing for nationals as well. They were determined to win against Shiketsu High.
