"𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 fu—fudge brownies," (Y/n) gasped, her jaw dropping. (Y/n)'s mom rolled her eyes at her daughter's near slip-up.

There, in front of the (h/c)-haired girl and her parents, stood an actual helicopter, with all her friends—Haru, Akari, Sae, Rin, Shidou, Michael, Nagi, Yoichi, and Akari's date: Rensuke—inside.

Ah, one of the most highly anticipated traditions at prom: you have to arrive in style, whether in a limousine, a supercar, or, in their case, a helicopter.

"Nope, I'm not going to prom." (Y/n) turned her back to the helicopter and began to head towards her house, only to be stopped by a pair of arms snaking around her waist and lifting her onto a shoulder.

"SAE, YOU FUCKING IDIOT! I'M WEARING A DRESS! PUT ME DOWN!" (Y/n) cursed, not caring if her parents were watching, she could hear them laughing anyway; her life felt at stake if she rode that thing. Sae chuckled. "Don't worry, no one can see anything."

Sae placed his prom date at the entrance of the helicopter. "After you," he said, trying to contain his laughter.

"I'm not riding that thing. How did you all even fit? I'm going to suffocate in there, I swear." (Y/n) shook her head, refusing to get inside.

"Come on, (Y/n)! It's fun, I promise!" Haru exclaimed.

"I'm going to fall out of that thing," (Y/n) insisted.

"There are fucking seatbelts!" Shidou groaned.

"(Y/n)—" Sae started.

"No."

"Just let me—"

"No."

"Listen—"

"No."

Sae sighed, then climbed inside the helicopter and pulled her in with him. Everyone shouted to the driver to take off quickly before (Y/n) could jump out.

(Y/n)'s screams were heard as the helicopter began to lift off the ground. The (h/c)-haired girl managed to find a vacant seat and quickly clicked the seatbelt around her, clutching Sae's arm for dear life.

"I hate you all. I hate you; I hate you," (Y/n) shouted, her voice barely audible over the sound of the wind and the helicopter.

As the helicopter approached the school, they could see a large group of seniors gathered below. The crowd grew larger as more people arrived in fancy cars—Porsches, limousines, Bugattis, Teslas, and others.

As the helicopter descended onto the school grounds, there was cheering and many students filming the scene.

Everyone began to get out of the helicopter, whether with their dates or friends. "You okay, (Y/n)?" Sae asked as (Y/n) took his outstretched hand and stood up.

"Never do that to me again," she warned.

"Okay, but no promises," Sae grinned.

Sae was the first to get off the helicopter, still holding (Y/n)'s hand as he helped her down.

(Y/n) looked up to see many people cheering. She smiled and gave a tiny wave as they headed to their group of friends.

"Okay, my ears hurt," Yoichi complained.

"I'm pretty sure it was from the helicopter's engine," Nagi replied.

"Bullshit, it was definitely from (Y/n)'s screaming," Shidou added earning a laughter from the group.

As the sun set, everyone made their way to the prom venue. The school had transformed the indoor gym into a dazzling space, decorated with disco balls, food and drink booths, a DJ booth, and vibrant signs.
