"𝗥𝗶𝗻!" (𝗬/𝗻) 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 to the younger Itoshi. "Hey." Rin greeted. "Wanna go out and get something to drink?" (Y/n) asked. "Yeah, sure," Rin answered.
Rin and (Y/n) had a sibling bond. Rin always thought of her as an older sister. They contained many unforgettable memories.
"How's football practice?" (Y/n) asked. "It's going well. I think I perfected my dribbling skills. What about you? How's it being captain of cheerleading?" Rin questioned.
" Stressful, plus I'm at the top of the pyramid which adds more stress. I have to stay balanced." (Y/n) admitted as they reached the coffee shop.
"Hello! What can I get you today?" The woman behind the cashier questioned. "I'd like an iced tea and (f/d), please," Rin ordered for both of them. "Coming right up!" The woman nodded.
"The key to removing stress is believing in yourself and taking deep breaths," Rin suggested as the both of them sat down.
"Yeah, I'll do that. Thanks Rin." (Y/n) smiled. "No problem."
As the duo's drinks finally arrived, (Y/n)'s eyes sparkled at the size of her drink. "Finally!" (Y/n) took a sip of her cup as she melted into the flavor. Rin chuckled at her. "You sure do love that drink."
"You know, there's a new girl in school." Rin took a sip of his iced tea. "Oh, really?" (Y/n) questioned. "Yup. But she gives off bad vibes." Rin spoke.
"Well don't judge a book by its cover." (Y/n) commented. "But, sometimes you gotta judge a book by its cover. Remember Oliver Aiku, your best friend didn't stay alert and got cheated on. On the other hand, you did notice and tried to warn her." Rin added.
"Aiku is a special case! He did give off bad vibes." (Y/n) replied. "Then you got to trust me on that new girl," Rin stated.
(Y/n) sighed, "I'll be the one to judge." Rin mumbled an okay. Then, Rin's phone started to ring as he answered the call.
"Hello?— Mhm.. I'm with her right now and yeah she's okay... Maybe she has it on silent, I didn't hear it ring.— Okay, bye." Rin hung up.
"It was Sae," Rin spoke as if he knew what (Y/n) was going to ask. "He wanted to make sure you were okay, you did fall hard during practice today." Rin tried to hold down his laughter.
On the other hand, (Y/n) was laughing as she recalled the memory.
—
It was yet another school day as (Y/n) sighed. "(Y/n)!" Akari called out as she came running to the (h/c) haired girl. "What's going on?" (Y/n) asked. "Haven't you heard? Shiketsu High are coming to practice here.. HERE!" Akari announced.
"That means—" (Y/n) started as Akari nodded. "He won't do anything don't worry." "And I promise that I'll beat Aiku, Akari," Rin spoke coming out of nowhere.
"Where did you come from?" (Y/n) laughed.
—
"All students, please head to the field as you will all be observing how the practice match goes. As a physical education assignment, everyone will have a piece of paper to write the skills used by the players." The principal announced on the speakers.
"Come on, let's go." Akari nudged (Y/n).
Both girls watched the practice match closely, a paper and pen in their hands as they wrote skills that the football players used.
However, (Y/n) was more focused on Sae than anyone else. Focusing on his dribblings and passes.
Once the match came to an end, Sae looked at the (h/c) haired girl as he smiled and waved. This simple action caused (Y/n)'s heart to skip a beat as she averted her gaze from him, looking down at her paper, and wrote the rest of the skills.
—
"I'm gonna go hand out my paper you coming?" Akari asked. "I'll be at my locker I need to get something, can you hand mine for me?" (Y/n) requested as Akari nodded, taking (Y/n)'s note, and left.
(Y/n) got the things she required from her locker, but as she closed it, she noticed Aiku standing beside her.
"(Y/n)." The boy stated. "It's (L/n) to you." (Y/n) replied coldly. "Always an attitude." Aiku chuckled. "Just spit out what you want already." (Y/n) added.
"Fine, I want you to convince Akari to be with me again," Aiku smirked. "Keep dreaming, you already said you didn't love her, so what's the point?" (Y/n) questioned.
"I realized my mistakes and I was an idiot, so help out will ya?" Aiku explained. "No, she wants nothing to do with you. I refuse."
Then suddenly, (Y/n) was pushed into a locker. "If you won't, I'll make your life a living hell."
