Song:
Hey Little Girl - sophiemarie.bFace Claim(s):
Finnley Santana - Maia MitchellIn which:
"My name is Finnley Santana Anderson-Hummel..."
-a daughter going back to where everything her parents worked for started
Finnley stood, waiting for her name to be called, so she could audition. She had been waiting 15 years for this moment. She had been waiting fifteen years to be on the stage named after her uncle, and in the same high school that had seen every tear, every smile, every breakdown, every second, of every hour that her family had ever spent here, together. She had waited 15 years to be in McKinley High School, auditioning for the glee club that her mom and dads had been in.
Yes, 'mom and dads'. Finnley had a surrogate mother, a stepfather, and two gay fathers.
"Finnley?" she heard her name called.
Finnley took a deep breath, before walking onto the stage. She looked to see who was sitting where the judges sit. Sitting there were William Schuester and Sue Sylvester. Thankfully neither of them had met her in person, before because anytime they visited her family, she was either with her mom's parents, her dad's parents, or her other dad's parents. They had met over the phone, but Finnley was 10 when that happened. She was careful not to put her last name down because she wanted to surprise her mothers' father figure. Anyone in the school would recognize her two hyphenated last names. All three of her parents were legends, not just all over the world, but to any Glee Club, in the world, mainly the New Directions in McKinley.
"What are you going to be singing for us, today?" Mr. Schue asked, breaking her out of her thoughts.
"Um, I'm going to be singing Hey Little Girl, which is an original song," Finnley said taking a deep breath(THE SONG IS OWNED BY sophiemarie.b !!!).
Mr. Schue nodded, telling her to start. She took a deep breath, before walking over to the stage hand, pulling off the trench coat she had on, and pulling on her Uncle Finn's jacket from when he was on the football team, in high school. It was the only thing that kept her calm and helped her think clearly, so she could sing. That jacket paired with the uniform her Aunt Santana used to where, when she was on the Cheerios, which she was currently wearing, kept her calm. When she walked back to where she was previously standing, she heard a gasp from both of the adults. She closed her eyes, and took a deep breath, before playing the piano, signaling the start of the song.
