Sorry for the late update. I don't know what happened. It was scheduled for Monday, but it didn't update.
Face Claim for Gloria Rhee: Jenna Ortega
In which:
"I missed you."
-a broken fourteen year old in the middle of an apocalypseIt's been 4 months.
4 months since everyone was separated. 4 months since she lost her brother. 4 months since she lost her boyfriend. 4 months since she started debating in her mind whether anyone else made it. She had no doubt a few people died. She just hoped it wasn't anyone she had known the longest. Selfishly, she prayed that it wasn't Glenn, Rick, Judith, Maggie, Michonne, or Carl.
The girl was wearing a pair of highrise ripped jeans, with a blue t-shirt she stole from Glenn a while back, and Carl's jacket. Her had was down, with a half side french braid. She had on her black leather ankle boots, and she was twisting her fake ring, stolen from a Spencer's, around her hand. On her wrists was a beaded bracelet given to her by Michonne, and two charm bracelets, one gold, one silver. On her other wrist was a heart bracelet that you could only get off with the key, which is attached to a necklace that Maggie currently has.
A sound at the door, caused Gloria to whip around, pulling her gaze from the window, as it landed on Ron. "What?" she asked, slightly amused at the boys appearance. "You look like you ran a marathon."
"New arrivals," he gasped, in between breaths.
"So?" she shrugged.
"You said to look out for a baby. They have a baby." Before the last sentence even left his mouth, Gloria was already running out of the room, and down the stairs.
She got halfway down the steps, before she jumped, ignoring Jesse, Ron's mother, telling her to slow down. She ran out the door, and jumped over the banister to the porch, before she took off, sprinting towards Dianne's house. She ignored the group of children walking home from school, as they scrambled to get out her way.
She could hear Ron's footsteps behind her, but she paid them no mind, as she turned the corner, to see a large group of people standing outside of Dianne's house, as the older woman led one of them back to the group. Gloria stopped in shock. She may not be close enough to clearly see their faces, but she could tell what Carl looked like with the hat on at any time.
"Carl! Glenn!" Gloria shouted, as she took off running toward the group again.
Carl and Glenn turned toward the voice to see a young girl, with dark curly hair running toward them. It took Carl no time to break out of his shock, and hand Judith to Rick, before taking off toward Gloria, which prompted Glenn, and the rest of the group to follow.
Carl and Gloria collided, as Carl's arms went around her waist, and hers went around his neck. During the collision, he spun her around in a circle, before letting her feet touch the ground. She pulled away from him, only to be pulled into a hug by Glenn.
"You're alive," Carl breathed, when she pulled away from Glenn. "How are you alive?"
"Honestly, I'm just glad I am," she let out a small laugh, as tears ran down her face.
"Gloria!" the girl turned to see Dianne looking at her. "You know them?"
She nods. "I've known them since the beginning."

Gloria and Carl were walking down the streets of Alexandria, hands linked in between them.
"I missed you," she whispered.
"I missed you, too," he answered.
She pulled her hand away, and reached in her pocket, pulling out the ring they stole from a Spencer's in an abandoned mall. He smiled and reached to pull a necklace out from hiding under his shirt. On the necklace was a matching ring.
The girl smiled and the two continued their walk through the quiet town, relishing in each other's presence. They wanted to spend as much time together as possible, because, knowing there luck, this wouldn't last forever.
And they were right. It didn't.
