❦The room was filled with soft, golden light as Jadon stood near the door, his bag slung over his shoulder. International break had come to an end, and it was time for him to leave once again
Imani's eyes glistened with unspoken emotions as she hugged her older brother tightly. "I'm going to miss you, Jadon. It was so good to have you home for a while."
Jadon, with his signature grin, ruffled her hair affectionately. "I'll miss you too, sis. But you know I'll be back before you know it."
With a knowing nod, Imani whispered, "Take care out there."
Turning to Jobe, Jadon extended his hand, his expression now more serious. "And you, Jobe, remember what we talked about. Take care of my sister. I trust you to be there for her."
Jobe met Jadon's gaze with unwavering determination as he shook his hand. "I promise, Jadon. I'll look out for her. You can count on it."
With a final wave and a heartfelt goodbye, Jadon exited the room, leaving behind a sense of longing in his sister's heart. The echoes of Manchester United's anthem seemed to linger in the air, a constant reminder of his dedication to the beautiful game.
Imani watched him go, feeling both proud and sad. She knew her brother loved football, and she cherished the times when he was home.
As the door closed behind Jadon, the room felt a bit emptier, but it was not without the warmth of her family's support and the companionship of Jobe. The bittersweet farewell was a reminder that, even though Jadon was leaving, he would only be a phone call away. They knew they could always rely on each other, no matter the distance.
