Chapter 6: What's happened to Gangle?

Gangle sat in her room, looking at the ground.
Where was Pomni? Was she okay? What happened to her? Was she just outside? Was she in the Void? Did she...die?
No, Gangle tried to wave that last thought away. They decided to get up and tell somebody.

She decided to tell Kinger.

They got up from their bed and went out of the door, moving to Kinger's room.
Before she could get all the way there, she met Zooble.
"Hey, Gangle. I heard something happened to you. I'm not the type to care about these things, but I will admit I am slightly worried about you."
Gangle slowly looked up at Zooble. Zooble's eyes were filled with concern. She sighed.
"I'm fine, Zooble...I just...didn't feel well."
"You still look like you don't feel well, Gangle. Come on, just tell me what's up. I won't tell anybody else."
Gangle looked to the side.
"I don't really want to talk about it...unless it's with Kinger."
Zooble nodded.
"I understand.", She started. "But why him specifically?"
"Well, he has been here the longest, hasn't he...?"
Zooble crossed her arms while she thought.
"Hm, yeah, I guess you're right, he probably would be able to help with whatever happened...By the way, have you seen Pomni?"
Gangle took a sharp breath in. And let it back out slowly.
"That's what I want to talk about with him, Zooble..."
Zooble's eyebrows raised.
"Oh? Hm. Did you see her go missing?"
Gangle nodded.
"Alright. Look, if he doesn't know what to do or keeps talking about irrelevant things, you can talk to me anytime. I might not be able to help find her, but I might be able to help your mental state. You must feel horrible, honestly."
"Yeah, I do, Zooble. Th-thanks for offering...I'll be sure to remember you if he does end up being no help."
Zooble nodded and walked away, stumbling every few steps.

Gangle sighed and continued to make her way to Kinger's room.

You know, it's honestly funny.

Gangle feels bad for something that isn't her fault.

Poor little Gangle.
