Pomni's Last Nerve [CANCELED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE]

Chapter 7: Talking to Kinger.

Gangle moved to Kinger's room and knocked on his door.
"K-Kinger...? A-are you in there...? I n-need to talk to you about s-something..."
Kinger opened the door.
"Oh, Gangle! Hi! Come in, wanna see my bug collection?"
"N-no Kinger...later. I need to tell you something...", Gangle started.
"Awww, fine, but can I show my insect collection after?"
"Yes, K-Kinger...."

Gangle gulped and took a breath.
"W-well...We were playing t-tag...and I saw Pomni...s-so I chased her...and she jumped down from th-the second floor and ran into a door....and...the door disappeared..."
Kinger looked at the ground for a second, his usually unfocused and shiny eyes looking quite focused and dull.
"Well...Gangle. I need to tell you something of my own."
Gangle looked up towards Kinger.
"You remember Queenie, right?"
Gangle looked to the side before nodding and looking back.
"Well...I saw her go too...she kept rambling about an exit. And she said I should help her look for it...so I did. And. She went through the door. She said goodbye to me, and she laughed. 'Freedom, freedom', she yelled. I only saw her months later, and she was very close to abstracting. She gave me one more kiss..and she went into her room."

There was a silence before-
Gangle broke the long silence by sobbing loudly.
"TH-THAT'S SO ROMANTIC....Y-YET SO SAD!"
They sobbed into Kinger's shoulder and he pat their head.
"It's alright, Gangle...I miss my wife though...I miss her a lot..."
Gangle got up and Kinger wiped some tears off of her.
"I can't stand to see somebody who listened to my sob stories and facts about bugs I like cry."
Gangle smiled.
"You know, you're a really good friend, Kinger. I-I don't know what I'll do if you get abstracted."
"I agree, Gangle. You're my best friend. Friends forever?"
"F-friends forever."
They hugged each other and Gangle cried some more. Though these were tears of happiness.

Then Kinger got up.
"Can I show my bug collection?", he asked Gangle.
Gangle nodded and smiled.

Such good friends.

I hope they stay friends forever, just like they promised.
