quick thing:
Sorry for not updating this story, I have been busy with school and things! I'll try to update it every week or so.

Kinger perked up in his bed. He could have sworn he heard knocking on his door. Was it Gangle? No, she had just left, it couldn't have been her.

He went over to the door and opened it slightly. "H-hello...?"

His voice echoed through the empty hall. Across from his room he saw Gangle's door slightly open. He closed the door behind him and went on his way to Gangle's room. He pulled open the door slightly.

"Gangle...?"

He looked around and saw a note on her bed. He picked it up and read this;

Dear Kinger, if it's even you reading this,
I've gone to look for Pomni. If I don't come back within a couple hours, you might as well just assume the worst.

I'm sorry I didn't tell you in person, I just didn't want you to try and hold me back. Something's telling me I have to look for her. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me.

Oh, and one more thing.

Please don't forget me.

With regrets,
Gangle.

Kinger shakily put down the note. Gangle. Gone. He looked at his hands.
What if she got hurt? Or disappeared forever? What if wherever Pomni went, she could never come back, and if Gangle looked for her, she could never come back either?

No, that can't be true. Gangle will be back.
Gangle will be back.

He hoped Gangle would be back.

He hoped his best friend would be back soon.

He really needed Gangle.

A lot.
