StarDate 2274.16.07, Kevin has gone to chase his dream as Engineer and I wish him well in pursuing his dreams.

I could make him no promise or guarantee that when he completed his two year internship that I would be waiting for him.

I did promise him one thing, we would always be friends, but what woman would wait for a space cadet and play second fiddle to his career.

I had traveled many light years away from Post World War Three Planet Earth United States where I became a war orphan and I lost all of my family.

The one thing I never told either Susan or Katherine was that I had lost the only man I would ever love and he died from the long side effects of radiation sickness that brought on his prostate cancer.

I was only 13 years old when I met him and he was only 15 years old when he met me through a friend on World War Three Planet Earth, named Debbie Hollywood.

I remember the first time I set my eyes on him and I felt my heart flutter and he told Debbie the same thing after we met each other.

Debbie called me and told me

that Roy really liked me and I told Debbie that I really liked Roy, but we were like two years apart in age

that Roy really liked me and I told Debbie that I really liked Roy, but we were like two years apart in age.

Debbie told me "So what Karissa. Does two years make any difference?"

"Your father and mother are five years apart in age." Debbie reminds me.

Roy and I stated dated in 2268 and in 2269, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer brought on from the long term side effects from radiation sickness, but the oncologist was able to get into remission for one year, and all of sudden it returned the oncologist told us " Roy's cancer was terminal."

Roy was moved into a hospice where he was kept comfortable and taken care of as his father and mother had divorced each other and each other had remarried and none wanted their children.

I only had one picture of Roy and I taken with each other in 2269 when I was 15 and he was 17 years old.
