The Diaries of Two American Aristocrat Regency Duchesses on Star Base 12

StarDate 2274.18.10, It has been two months since Lord Andrew Charles Howard and I got together and I am certain that I am pregnant with our daughter who I will name Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane Howard, and she will have in front of her name Lady, as she is the first male line great-great-great-granddaughter of Lord Patrick William Howard.

When I tell Lord Andrew Charles that I am pregnant. He looks at me with a smile, " I am finally going to shut my father up about when he is going to get his first male line grandchild."

"I will call the Howard Carriage and we will go to Norfolk Manor and give the good news to my father, mother, and brothers." Lord Andrew Charles tells me.

We just climb into The Howard carriage and we ride out to Norfolk Manor and when we arrive Lord Howard is standing outside with Lady Patricia, and their two sons, Lord Charles Andrew Howard The Third, Lord Patrick William Howard The Second and their wives, Lady Victoria Charlotte and Lady Patricia Charlene.

Lord Andrew Charles is wearing a medium blue polo shirt, black slacks and a black leather jacket and I am wearing an amethyst 1970 Gunne Sax Maxi dress.

Lord Andrew Charles takes me by the hand and we walk hand in hand and Lord Andrew Charles and I walk to where his father, mother, brothers, and sisters in law are standing " Father and mother. I want you to meet my fiancee, Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell." Lord Andrew Charles tells his father and mother.

"I see you have changed your style of clothing, Lord Andrew Charles Howard." Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR tells his son.

"I like new styles, father. It is time to change our styles." Lord Andrew Charles explains to his father.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR looks at Lord Andrew Charles and I and he asks "You have come here for a reason?"

"We have come here father for a very good reason. Karissa and I are expecting a daughter in late April or early May." Lord Andrew Charles tells his father.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR looks at me and he asks " You two are going to be married and when?"

"I have set the date for March 21, 2275." I answer.

I see a smile forming on his face and he is actually smiling and he tells us "I am finally going to have my first male line grandchild. I had to wait 66 years for her to come." Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR tells us.

"Karissa is going to name her  Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane." Lord Andrew Charles tells his father.

"Elizabeth, Ann are family names, but Victoria and Beltane are different to say the least.' Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR tells us.

From the distance in the courtyard, I see Lord Charles Andrew Howard The Third and Lord

 Patrick William Howard The Second look at each other and then they are looking at their wives.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR asks me "Please Karissa. I am asking you to place Lady in front of your name as you will be a part of Lord Patrick William Howard's family."

"Lord Howard. I am not an aristocrat and I am not British. I am American and we don't believe in all of that stuff' I explain.

"I will tell you what. I will gladly use the name of Lady if you want me too." I tell Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR "Only after your son and I are married in March of 2275.."

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR looks at his wife, "You gave me three sons and only one has given my great-grandfather his heiress to carry on what he began in 2165."

"Now what about your first cousins, Lord Andrew Charles?" Lord Charles Andrew JR asks.

"I haven't heard from Lord Richard Edward The Second or Lord David William Beck in a while. I expect they are busy." Lord Andrew Charles tells his father.

"Lord Richard Edward The Second child will be in second place in the line of succession only after your child, and he will fall further behind when Karissa and you have other children. There will be other children I hope." Lord Charles Andrew JR asks.

"Karissa and I are planning on five children." Lord Andrew Charles tells his father.

"Lord Thomas William Howard when he marries his children will come after Lord Richard Edward Howard's children. I am afraid that Lord Frederick William Howard The Third, Lord Richard William Carey and Lord David William Beck's children are excluded from the line of succession." Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR tells his son.

I see how happy Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR is about his first male line granddaughter who will become the first Duchess of Norfolk Territory.
