The First Matrilineal Dukedom of Star Base 12.

The Dukedom of Clarence Territory on Star Base 12 was the first of many Dukedoms on Star Base 12 to go from Absolute to Matrilineal Primogeniture and that meant that only females could inherit the Dukedom from their mothers and their brothers would be excluded from inheriting the Dukedom and it would pass onto the next female descendant.

Lord Patrick William Howard in 2167, claimed it and it was on Samhain, October 31, 2167, and he named it in honor of King Edward The Third's third but second surviving son, Prince Lionel of Antwerp, Duke of Clarence who only had one child, a daughter that was excluded from inheriting England due to the fact she was only a girl, and was by passed for her first cousins, Prince Richard The Second, and she was the oldest grandchild of King Edward The Third but due to her sex. She was excluded from inheriting the Kingdom of England.

Prince Lionel named his only daughter in honor of his dear mother, a very noble, compassionate woman, Princess Philippa of Hainault.

Princess Philippa was passed over for her first cousins, Prince Richard The Second, and later Prince Henry of Bolingbroke, the sons of her older and younger uncles, Prince Edward, The Black Prince and Prince John of Gaunt.

Princess Philippa made a brilliant marriage with Sir Edmund Mortimer, 3rd Earl of March and through her granddaughter, Lady Anne Mortimer who married her first cousin once removed, Prince Richard of Conisburgh, the son of her uncle and they became the mother and father of Lord Richard, Duke of York and the grandparents of King Edward The Fourth, and King Richard The Third, and the great-grandparents of Queen Elizabeth of York and through their great-granddaughter, Queen Elizabeth of York they were the great-great-grandparents of King Henry The Eighth of England and the great-great-great-grandparents of Queen Elizabeth of First of England, so this way Prince Lionel would never be forgotten. He didn't do much in the War of Roses, but through his granddaughter, Lady Anne Mortimer gave Prince Lionel his claim to the English throne.

So The grandson of King Edward The Third's fourth fifth son, Prince Edmund, Duke of Langley son marries the granddaughter of his third son and they see their grandsons placed on the throne- King Edward The Fourth and King Richard The Third, but The damn usurper, Henry Tudor killed King Richard The Third on August 22, 1485 on the Field of Bosworth field along with Sir Walter Devereux and Lord John Howard, 1st Duke of Norfolk, and Henry Tudor becomes King of England, but of course Odin administered his justice and in the end Lord John Howard's great-great-granddaughter, Queen Elizabeth became The Greatest Queen that England ever knew and she was also the granddaughter of King Henry The Seventh.

Lord Andrew Charles Howard reclaims the Dukedom and Territory in 2276 in the name of his great-great-grandfather, Lord Patrick William Howard, upon the birth of his second child and daughter, Lady Samhain Wilhelmina Charlene, born on October 31, 2276, he creates her Duchess of Clarence Territory in the name of her great-great-great-grandfather, Lord Patrick William Howard.

Five days after her birth on November 5, 2275

, Lord Andrew Charles from the balcony on Clarence Manor presented Lady Samhain to her people in Clarence Territory with Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann by his side.
