A tense silence filled the air as Bruce let out a sigh of relief, nodding in Tony's direction.

"Okay. Great. That- that makes things easier, doesn't it?" he looked around, frowning when nobody said anything.

Issac let out a low chuckle, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Do you wanna tell him or should I?" He eyed Tony in a manner that wasn't exactly the friendliest.

Bruce looked between the two, only now seeming to notice the tension between them.

"Tell me what?"

"The Avengers broke up. We're toast." Tony admitted, despite two years going by he still sounded reluctant to say those words out loud.

"Broke up?" A crease formed between Bruce's brow as his frown deepened. "Like a band? Like the beatles?"

"Think more like Queen." Issac chimed in. "Messier and...rougher." he sighed.

"Cap and I fell out. Hard. We're not on speaking terms."

Bruce had to take a moment to process all this information. He looked to Issac for any sign that this was some sick joke Tony had decided to play on him, but Issac merely looked down at his hands, playing with his ring once again. He turned back to Tony, stammering for a moment as he tried to pull his thoughts together.

"Tony, listen to me," He stepped closer. "Thor's gone. Thanos is coming- it doesn't matter who you're talking to or not."

His words were soft, but Issac could still hear them clearly from where he stood a few feet away.

"Call him, Tony." Bruce urged.

Tony shook his head.

"Why can't you call him?" he asked, turning his gaze to Issac.

"Because that's too easy." Issac shrugged. They all knew if he was the one to call Steve, he'd come in a heartbeat, but that was the major issue. "It needs to come from you, Tony. Maybe it's time we.....put everything aside for the sake of everything again."

Tony sighed in defeat, looking down at his shoes. Both Issac and Bruce had valid points. Despite two years going by, the pain of Steve' betrayal and the events that happened back in 2016 still stung like stab wounds that haven't healed. Even so, they were right. They needed to put those issues behind them if they had any hope of stopping Thanos, at least for a bit.

He turned away from them, shaking his head as he muttered something about a flip phone while pulling the device out of his pocket. Issac couldn't help but grin slightly. He wouldn't bust his balls for it just yet, but the fact that Tony kept the flip phone Steve had given him the whole time showed that he still had faith in Steve, maybe even just a little bit.

Issac shivered, feeling the hairs on the back of his neck suddenly rise. He looked around in confusion, both Stephen and Wong frowning in his direction. Issac's bad feelings were usually spot on, and right now it was like alarm bells were going off in his mind. The tips of Stephen's hair began to drift slightly from a slight draft flowing through the hole in the ceiling, followed by the sounds of distant rumbling. They looked at each other before turning to look at the front door, watching as papers could be seen flying past the glass, followed by hordes of people running. Obviously, running from something.

The streets were in chaos. People were running into each other, falling, cars were spinning out of control and crashing into various buildings and objects on the sidewalks. The four of them split up to cover as much ground and help out as much as possible. Tony put on his glasses while Issac's eyes shifted to a light purple hue as he scanned the nearby area.
