Issac tumbled into the ship with Strange's unconscious body, letting out a low groan as his vision swam. He pushed himself up, coming face to face with the mock Squidward once again, flinching backwards instinctively. This guy was a lot taller close up, and a lot freakier as well. The way he peered at him made Issac feel like a rat trapped in a cage, and the other thing was the crazy scientist getting ready to experiment on him. He rolled onto his feet, crouching in front of Strange and standing protectively in front of him. Strange was their only chance against Thanos and the only thing between him and the time stone, and he wasn't very useful while he was out cold like this.
"I am Ebony Maw of the Black Order, a child of Thanos." He introduced himself, much to Issac's surprise. "What do they call you?" he asked, gesturing to Issac in a way that should have been elegant and proper, but coming from a creature such as this only made it creepier.
"Sorry?" Issac blinked, wondering if he had been knocked out and this was some fucked up nightmare again.
"Your powers are exceptional, and you are not such a mindless fool as these other humans. So I ask again, what is your name?"
Issac felt a chill run down his spine at the strange, almost sadistic smile on the creature's face. It was one of the rare times he felt genuine fear in front of the enemy.
"Issac." He mumbled, feeling as if he had no choice in the matter. Taking a deep breath, he sent his iciest glare in the Maw's direction. "Not that it's any of your fucking business."
Maw seemed displeased by Issac's prickly attitude, his smile dropping slightly.
"Pity." he mumbled, raising a hand.
Issac felt something wrap around his wrists and looking down, he realized that it was some form of alien restraints. They concealed his hands entirely, closing off around his wrists and connecting to a chain that held him at most a few feet away from the wall.
"So you don't get any ideas." The Maw hummed before turning on his heel and hovering deeper into the ship. Strange's body lifted into the air and Issac was powerless to do anything to stop him from being taken away.
Issac gave the restraints an experimental tug, cursing as a sudden jolt nearly knocked him onto his ass. He tugged again, sighing when the chain showed no sign of coming loose.
"Fuck." He cursed again, louder this time now that he was certain he was alone.
He leaned back against the wall, closing his eyes and letting out a heavy sigh. His only hope at this point seemed to be resting on the possibility of Strange coming to and breaking them both out, but that was starting to seem like a long shot.
Some time had passed before any sign of life showed. He'd long given up on trying to break out of the restraints. He tried pulling, yanking, twisting, and activating his magic, but nothing seemed to work. Whatever these restraints were, they definitely outranked any super solder restraints they kept on Earth.
Sitting up suddenly, he frowned, furrowing his eyebrows as he focused his hearing. At first, he merely assumed the sound was something within the ship kicking into life, but he soon realized that it was the sound of large clunky footsteps approaching the room. Tony's head peered around the corner, blaster held up at the ready and Issac nearly moaned in relief.
"Jesus-" Tony flinched before relaxing himself, even letting out a soft laugh that bordered hysteria. "Am I glad to see that they didn't throw you out of the space garbage disposal." he mumbled, stepping into the room.
