"Not what I would have gone with, but that works too." Strange clapped his hands together, magic forming in spheres around his fists as he prepared to strike an attack of his own.
Thanos merely shook off Issac's magic, looking up at a piece of wreckage Tony sent hurtling towards him. That was the signal, apparently, as the rest began moving from their hiding spots and drawing their weapons.
With the power stone, it was easy for Thanos to shatter the ruined structure, then using the reality stone to change the pieces into birds and use them as a distraction. Issac took turns with the others in throwing separate attacks, attempting to try and overwhelm Thanos at first while he was still relatively caught off guard. Even without the power of the stones, Thanos had enhanced physiological abilities that made trying to attack him head on a pain in the ass.
Issac dodged another large fist before creating a shield, blocking a blast from the power stone. He slashed the air, conjuring blades made from his magic and sending them at Thanos, only for them to be merely deflected or dodged with ease. Strange was able to create portals that would allow each of them to slip in and out of their area, attacking and running, attacking and running, before Thanos could send a counter attack. It was surprisingly effective, but not effective enough. They needed the stones. Issac began conjuring a large amount of magic before pausing, spotting something in the distance.
"Oh shit-" He quickly clapped his hands together, disappearing from his current position and appearing about fifty feet away, watching as Thanos took a straight hit from a small spaceship looking thing.
A figure emerged from the wreckage, wasting no time in using the altered gravity of the planet to her advantage. She leapt forward, attacking him mercilessly. They were saying something Issac couldn't hear from this distance, but it seemed to be a pretty heated discussion. Perhaps they knew each other, or something, Issac had no idea. Her onslaught of attacks was short lived when Thanos merely backhanded her away several feet with ease.
Issac crept forward, watching as one by one each person began incapacitating a different limb or aspect of him. His eyes darkened and flashed purple as he forced his way into Thanos' mind. Even after continuously improving his magical abilities, this was a struggle. Thanos truly did have an incredibly strong will, and an incredibly fortified mind. Issac vaguely felt his nose starting to bleed but ignored it in favor of trying to incapacitate Thanos.
Mantis still struggled to put Thanos to sleep, even with Issac inside his head. The most they were able to achieve was a semi-conscious state, and even then he still held onto the gauntlet for dear life. It took their entire group just to incapacitate them and both Tony and Peter tried to remove the gauntlet. Issac couldn't even move, one tiny lapse in focus could cause him to lose his grip on Thanos' mind and all this struggle would have been for nothing.
He could vaguely hear voices talking, Peter Quill, maybe, it was hard to really make out what they were saying. Then there was yelling. Yelling wasn't a good sign. It was bad, actually. Very, very bad. He could feel Thanos' emotions. There was pain, sorrow, mourning, determination yes but mainly those three. From what he understood, Gamora was Thanos' adopted daughter. Despite everything that had happened with them over the years, he still truly loved her. He could feel that. If he could dig deeper and see Thanos' memories, maybe he could figure out how he managed to get the stones, and what happened to this Gamora person.
Issac cried out in pain as Thanos broke free, feeling as if his consciousness was practically ripped from the others'. After the mental pain, came the physical. He wasn't entirely sure what hit him, but when his vision finally cleared he was on his back, staring up at the sky listening to the muted sounds of battle around him. He rolled over, pushing himself onto his hands and knees and watching as Thanos began pulling a literal planet towards them. Specifically, towards Tony.
