Arriving in the paddock, Saffron's hand was intertwined with Marcus' as the couple walking through the gates and along the paddock. "I missed it here." Marcus smiles, cameras flashing all around him and Saffron, looking like the picture perfect couple. "You should come as often as you can through out the season." Saffron smiles, turning to lookat Marcus as he looks back at her. "I might have to come more often to support you in what you do." Marcus softly smile, leaning down and pecking Saffron's lips.
"I love you." Saffrons grins through the kiss. "I love you too. Come on, lets head to where we have to be." Marcus says, slinging his arm around Saffron's shoulder. The pair walk to the hospitality of the FIA where all the media was. "I still can't believe my girl is a intern media journalist." Marcus grins proudly. "I know. I have a few interviews today after practice 2 but until then, I can work on the ones from yesterday." Saffron widely grins before heading inside the hospitality.
It was already buzzing with media personal, going over what they got from the press conferences and interviews yesterday during media day. "What have you got today then, love?" Marcus asks, sitting opposite his long term blonde girlfriend. "I have some F2 interviews then F1 interviews after their practice." Saffron responds, not looking up from her work.
Marcus knows how bad Saffron wants to get a media job in motorsport, particularly Formula 1 or Formula 2, when her internship is done. However, he desperately wants her in Indycar but won't push her there if she has her heart set on F1 or F2. Looking around, Marcus' eyes land on Lissie Mackintosh, the girl he was cheating on Saffron with. When Lissie looks over, she widely smiles and waves at him before mouthing him to go over to her. "I'll be right back." Marcus informs Saffron and looks at her as she nods instead of providing a verbal response due to her being too focused.
Walking over, Marcus widely greets Lissie. "Hello beautiful." Marcus says, kissing Lissie's cheek as a formal way of greeting her. "Hi. Didn't expect you here today. What brings you?" Lissie asks with a flirty tone in her voice. "Saffron. But, I'm making time for my soon to be future." Marcus says, sitting down. "You're going to tell her?" the brunette content creator asks. "Of course. But, I'm going to tell her when she leasts expects it. I mean she doesn't have Arthur who she can run off crying to when I break up with her. I'm going to pack her things on a thursday while she is out and tell her. She'll then have to pay for two hotel rooms. And with what she's making on her internship, she won't be able to afford it." Marcus says in a hushed tone with smirk.
"Marcus, we both know Saffron is a very smart girl. She'll put her original room in your name and make you pay. I would wait until the weekend is over." Lissie whispers, looking over at Saffron who has her airpods in and too focused on her work. "The earlier I break up with her one race weekend, the longer we get in the room." Marcus says. "I love you, you know." Lissie says. "I love you too. I promise, it'll be soon when I tell her the truth and end it." Marcus says. "Meet me in the bathroom in 10 minutes. I really need to kiss you." Lissie says as Marcus stands up and nods before heading back to Saffron.
Kissing her cheek, Marcus sits back down opposite Saffron. The blonde londoner takes an airpod out and pauses her music. "You were gone a while." she smiles, looking up from her work. "Yeah. Just catching up with an old friend." Marcus smiles as Saffron nods. Deep relief for the Australian as she believes his lie.
"Right, I'm heading to do my job. I'll be back in 45 minutes. Don't go anywhere." Saffron smiles, packing her belongings and getting her essential things for her media duties before disappearing. Marcus watches as she leaves his sight before looking over at Lissie who also watches Saffron leave. He mouths her to meet him in 2 minutes in the toilets before disappearing.
