Monaco. Home again after Vegas and it was common knowledge that Saffron and Charles were nackered after their flight. "I'll drop you off and you can get some sleep. We're meeting at my mamans on Wednesday so I'll see you then." Charles says as he and Saffron get into his car. "That's alright. And thanks for the ride. Arthur's probably asleep so I didn't want to wake him." Saffron says. "Anytime. We're all here for you." Charles comments as the two make their way to Arthur and Saffron's apartment.
The older driver drops the media intern off at her apartment and waits until she is inside the building before driving off. Walking in, Saffron breathes in the familiar smell of the apartment and it immediately fills her with warmth, making her forget the last few weeks and everything thing that happened. Instead of seeking the comfort of her own bed, Saffron goes into her room to change into her pajamas before quietly sneaking into Arthur's room where he was wrapped up under his duvet, peacefully asleep and oblivious to the world around him.
She sneakily climbs into bed beside Arthur, him closer to the wall laid on his side. Saffron wraps the duvet around her body frame before snuggling closer to her best friend. Shuffling Arthur turns onto his back and pulls the girl cuddles closer to him, still not aware she is beside him. The remaining tension in her body disappears once she hears her best friends heartbeat which slowly send her to sleep.
The following morning, Arthur awakens and he is instantly met with his arms wrapped around Saffron's waist. The blonde girl had her back pressed against him as she snuggled under the bedsheets. He smiles before gently pressing a kiss against her cheek and carefully getting out his bed, trying not to wake the sleeping girl. Once he was out of bed and changed, Arthur heads to the kitchen and makes a coffee to wake himself up before putting on some form of sports on the TV. He didnt have the volume too loud due to Saffron still being asleep in bed.
Arthur already was aware that Ollie was coming over but he didn't expect Saffron to be back as soon as she was but it was a pleasant surprise to him this morning. He debated whether to tell Ollie but thought he'd leave it as a surprise. "Hey mate." Arthur smiles, opening the door to Ollie. "Hey bro. You good?" Ollie asks, walking in. "Yeah. You?" Arthur asks, shutting the door. "Normal as alwa...Is that Saffron's or some random chicks stuff?" Ollie asks, spotting the luggage by the door. "Saff's. Yeah, she's home. I was surprised this morning as I didn't expect her home straight away." Arthur smiles.
"Mate you are in literal love. You never shut up about her while she was away. You've got to take her on a date and go to the next level." Ollie comments. "But she's still drowing over what Marcus did. It could take another good few months before she's fully ready." Arthur says. "More like she got the closure she needed and is ready to move on." Saffron comments from the doorway of the bedroom.
"Saff!" Ollie calls as he runs over and hugs her. "Hello to you too, Oliver." Saffron laughs as he lifts her off the ground. "Come on! She gets to call you that but I don't?" Arthur comments. "Yes now don't complain." Ollie laughs. "I'm tell you Arth. Best sleep ever." Saffron laughs as Ollie places her back on the ground after their hug and she sits beside him, laying her head on the Monegasque's shoulder. "Gathered. It's the afternoon for crying out loud." Arthur laughs. "And? I didn't get back until this morning." Saffron giggles.
Ollie can't help but marvel at the sight of the two. Seeing how in love they were, knowing they were potentially going to date soon. "Anyway, what did you mean when you said "she got the closure she needed." does that mean...?" Arthur asks. Saffron pulls out her phone, opening the video Lando recorded and sent her before handing it to Arthur, Ollie standing beside him. The pair watch the whole encounter between Saffron and Marcus as well as the argument after which Pierre recorded.
