Solstices pov

(A/n, also since it was a dream for solstice ig matt doesn't know that she has a crush on him, yet) 

I woke up to my alarm, gosh dammit. I fucking fell asleep once i got home, so it was all a dream, af course it all had to be fake, it was to good to be true. Matt kissing me, us going to the movie theatre, him putting his hand on her thigh, and holding her hand . I felt something stirring in my stomach. I was fucking catching feelings for Matt! Who would've guessed? Would've taken Sherlock Holmes to guess. Her friends probably knew before her. This is fucking outrageous.

I got up, and dragged my feet to the bathroom. I started my shower and got my outfit ready. Once I hopped in the shower I washed my hair and body.

I dried off and put on my clothes, I chose a white sweatshirt and black jeans, I put my hair up in a tight ponytail, I put on concealer, mascara, lipgloss and highlighter.

I heard a honk outside, and came running down the stairs. I slowed my pace once I heard a second honk. I took my sweet ol' time walking towards the van. I got into the van and was already being scolded for being slow, "you act like me being slow is new." I remarked, scoffing, "that's a fair point" Matt returned a scoff.

Me and Matt walked towards math, "Soo... why didn't you come over and study like you said you would?" Matt asked, I said nothing. I was gonna get back at this bitch for flirting with other girls, but this, this was not how i was gonna take revenge. "I fell asleep." I explained, "damn." Matt muttered under his breath. 

We walked into math towards our seats. I sighed and was mentally preparing myself for girls to be all over Matt today.

To my surprise no one was flirting w- damn, there was some bitch flirting with him. I checked my wrist to check the time, (I had no watch on) damn, he's already got some bitch at 8 in the MORNING. I continued walking towards my locker, "excuse me" I said hinting that I wanted in my locker. The girl moved and continued talking to matt. I grabbed my stuff and headed towards English class, no way in hell was I going to walk with him to English, he had that girl to walk with him anyways. 

I sat in English, I sat across from matt in the back, him on the left side of the classroom, me on the right. Apparently I never noticed how far away we were. "Yo can I get a pencil?" Some kid asked, he was diagonal from me, I smiled and reached to grab one. "Yep here ya go. I'm solstice by the way." I gave him a warm smile before handing him a pencil, "Connor" he replied smiling back and taking the pencil. I can't believe I've sat next to this kid for what, almost a whole year and I've never acknowledged him nor even known he existed? "Wanna sit at my lunch table with me and my friends?" I asked, knowing damn well this is how I could get revenge. "Sure, meet after class?" He said, "yep."

After class I waited outside of the classroom for him. Once Connor had gotten out, we walked towards our locker. We parted our way and agreed to meet at the lunch doors. 

Once I arrived at my locker, no one was messing with matt, finally. "Hey gorgeous, wanna meet after school? Nick, Chris miss you." Matt asked, I immediately flushed, matt definitely noticed. "Why do they miss me? We meet almost everyday at lunch?" I questioned, "also by the way I asked a guy in English to eat with us. His name is Connor." I said. "ok." matt replied. He seemed off. 

Matt's pov

"Hey gorgeous, wanna meet after school? Nick and Chris miss you." I asked, I saw Solstice go red, I tried so hard not to smile. Thankfully I didn't smile. "Why do they miss me? We meet almost everyday at lunch," she began "also by the way I asked a guy in English to eat with us. His name is Connor." "ok." I answered, feeling a wave of jealousy hit me. But there's no way I could be jealous. I don't like Solstice.

Once we had arrived at the cafeteria doors some guy with brown hair and brown eyes came towards us, he greeted me and started talking to Solstice. I ignored them and walked towards Nick, Chris and Caroline. Solstice and that kid were too busy talking to realize I had left them.

"Hey Caroline." I greeted her, "hey." Caroline replied, "what so no greeting for your TRIPLET BROTHERS?" Nick vocalized, "nah, I live with you guys. I barely ever get to see Caroline." I rolled my eyes, "You see her everyday at lunch! Stupid bitch." Nick scoffed and looked towards Chris to get his opinion, "I'm honestly so offended that you greeted her and not your own brother." Chris whined, and started fake crying on nicks shoulder, "whatever." I scoffed, "have y'all seen solstice and that kid?" Caroline exclaimed. Both nick and Chris looked towards solstice and Connor. "DIBS!" Chris yelled, "what the fuckk, I pointed them out first!" Caroline whined, "whatever, I have the most potential on being the captain. Besides y'all don't see have the couples we've shipped, that I was the captain of and they're still sailing?" Nick pointed out, "I fucking called dibs!" Chris started bickering with Caroline and nick about who should be the captain of their ship.

Matt just tuned out the bickering. He finally saw solstice and Connor coming to sit down, "shut up, your 'ship' is coming." Matt said making air quotes at 'ship', the three stopped arguing and started introducing themselves to connor. Connor seemed like a nice guy, but over the course of lunch he noticed that solstice's body language changed whenever Matt talked to her or they brushed up against each other, she looked flustered and nervous. But when she had finally calmed down she seemed normal again. But he had also noticed that Connor and solstice showed no interest towards each other. 

A/n, Matt's finally catching onnn! It's only a matter of time till he finds out. Brace yourself because even I don't know what's gonna happen.
