Me and matt havent talked much after the kiss, but I can tell hes been thinking about it. His brothers are always snapping him out of trances, or his daydreaming. Its been a couple days since we kissed and its been a bit awkward, and we havent been our usual selves in a while.
When me and the triplets arrived at school I quickly walked to the library. I forgot about the rumor of me and matt dating, which I'd assume everyone else did, hopefully. I sat in the corner spot of the library covered by shelves and blocked off by tables. I grabbed my phone and tapped instagram.

Irl I turned my phone off and decided to just skip math then ill go to english. Theres no point in going to math anymore. I wanted to be a productive human so I grabbed a book, I read the spine, it was just some autobiography of some boring ass old dude. I put the book back and sat down in the corner again. I left my backpack in the corner and grabbed my phone then walked to the womens restroom.
When I came back I saw a figure on his phone in the corner. I looked at his hair and immediately recognized matt. I grabbed my phone out and pretended I didnt see him, so I sat in the corner next to him, but not close. He looked up, I heard his breath pick up, and he ran his hand through his hair, "hi" he whispered to me, I looked up and at him, I saw a pink spread across his cheeks, "hi." I greeted back, whispering. "I was sitting here," he stated. "Okay? I was sitting here first." I rolled my eyes, "I didnt see you?" "I went to the bathroom. If you can see, my backpack is right there." I pointed across from us. He nodded and went back on his phone, so I did too.
We were still sitting in the library when he cleared his throat and spoke up, "solstice can we talk?" "We already are." I replied, my eyes still on my phone. "Thats not what I meant." He said, "i wanted to talk-" I cut him off, "about the kiss." I sighed, stilling looking at my phone. "Yes." He nodded his head, "ok. So lets talk." I said, my eyes still on my phone, was I scrolling through settings? Yes, yes indeed I was. He grabbed my chin and pulled me in, he moved his hand from my chin to my cheek, I moved my hands to the sides of his neck. This simple kiss led to a 2 minute make out session before I pulled away to breathe. When I pulled away, he took his breaths and just stared at me, in admiration. My cheeks turned scarlet, my stomach started doing flips. "I really don't want us to be awkward or ignore each other." He said all in one breath. His hand still on my cheek. "Im not gonna lie, these past couple days have been the worst in my life." He said, he was still looking in my eyes. In that moment, my stomach stopped doing flips but instead felt like a whole ass zoo was in my stomach. I couldn't help but smile and kiss him again, he pulled away and whispered, "you smiling makes it hard to kiss you." Connecting our lips again, I tried so hard not to smile.
During english I kept noticing matt giving death stares at connor. Which connor paid no attention too, in fact he was already all over some girl, thank gosh. But of course that didnt stop matt from glaring at him. In a way matt looked hot when he was glaring at someone.
At lunch I sat in my usual spot and matt next to me. Nick was sitting across from me, chris sat next to him and matt to my right. Nick, chris and matt were arguing over cake and cupcakes or something.
I went to pe and to the womens locker room, I changed and waited for the teacher to tell us to do laps.
In science I saw chris on his phone, surprisingly it looked like he wasnt. He hid it pretty good. He had it in his hoodie sleeve, and anytime the teacher looked at his way or close to him he stuffed it back in his sleeve and acted like he was fixing his sleeve.
When school was over I got in the car and almost fucking fell asleep. Pe worked my ass off, and I have tutoring tonight with matt. I figured the triplets wouldnt mind if I took a nap at their house for a bit. "Solstice, am I dropping you off?" Matt asked "no." I yawned, resting my head on my hands.
As soon as we got home I walked to the couch and sat by marylou, "hi sweetie!" She greeted me, "hi marylou" I replied, resting my head on her shoulder, it wasnt long before I fell asleep.
When I woke up my head wasnt on marylous shoulder but instead on matts lap. I lifted my head up and rested my head on his shoulder, "how long did I sleep for?" I whispered, tiredly, "about two hours. Marylou went to bed an hour ago. She said she didnt want to move you so she had me replace her." He whispered back, I got up and headed to his bedroom. He followed me and we sat on his floor and set the books and assignments down. He taught me what this and that was, while I was doing an assignment he laid down and watched his phone. He couldnt lay down long because I needed help.
When I finished matt was laid down and on his phone. I crawled in between his legs and laid down on his lap. He moved his legs some to get comfortable. I rested one of my arms on his lower stomach and the other wrapped around my torso. Minutes later I fell asleep.
I woke up with his hand in my hair and him still on his phone. He looked down at me and smiled, "goodmorning gorgeous." "What time is it." I asked, continuing our eye contact, "time for us to get in bed." He mocked, standing up and crawling in bed. He set his phone down on his nightstand and charged it. I crawled into bed with him. I cuddled up next to him and wrapped my arms around his torso, our legs yet again tangled together. His head was rested in my neck and one of his arms under me and wrapped around my waist, the other on my shoulder. He kissed my neck and trailed up to my lips, then he kissed my lips and laid his head back in my neck.
A/N. Not very proud of this chapter, I feel like I couldve done better. I might update again later tonight, idk so dont count on it pls. Also yah im trying to come up with ideas instead of them constantly in school and making out 👍👍
