One Week Later

The room was dark with only the sounds of light breathing and a high-pitched light whistling coming from Sam's nose as he slept on his side towards me, watching his peaceful face as I laid on a mountain of pillows with the covers kicked off already and wearing nothing but an oversized t-shirt and panties.

I was starting to feel more overheated and uncomfortable by the minute as I laid in bed wide awake, eventually looking back down at my now much larger belly bump and made a face as whispered lightly, "Are you ever gonna let me sleep again?"

I glanced back at Sam, making sure not to wake him as I carefully started to get out of bed and slipped on my slippers and robe.

I then gently and quietly closed the bathroom door behind me, keeping the light turned off as I made my way to the toilet, looking down at my stomach and making a face, "This is kinda getting ridiculous, you know?"

I quietly made my way down the steps when I saw the dim light of the fridge illuminating the kitchen and looked over, seeing a pair of red plaid pajama bottoms standing behind the fridge door. I furrowed my brows slightly as I came to the bottom of the steps, trying to peer around the door to get a good look at who it was when I then heard a string of three loud sneezes, one right after the other.

I smirked to myself, letting out a laugh as I came into the kitchen, "Good morning, Dean."

Dean finally peered around the door, making a face and noticing his tired eyes and slightly red nose, "Is it really morning already?"

I shrugged as I came around and started to dig through the drawer for a spoon, "It's technically morning? Like... Four-thirty, last I checked?"

Dean sniffled a little and shrugged, "That sounds about right? I'm usually up around this time anyway."

I furrowed my eyebrows as I turned and looked back at him, closing the drawer again, "Don't you ever sleep?"

Dean shrugged as he continued to look lazily through the fridge, "I get my usual five hours?"

I raised my eyebrows as I started to come up behind him and look in the fridge past him, "Well, aren't we the well-adjusted bunch? What are you looking for, anyway?"

Dean shrugged, "I don't know... I was kinda just hoping something would start to sound good if I looked at it hard enough?"

I let out a laugh, raising my eyebrows, "Well, that's because you're looking in the wrong place? Ice cream is in the freezer?"

Dean looked back and shrugged with a smirk, "You're right, that does sound good?"

I flipped on a switch above the kitchen sink, lighting up the kitchen with a dim yellow light as Dean got out a large carton of chocolate and peanut-butter ice cream and set it on the counter, grabbing his own spoon from the drawer.

I leaned my hands on the edge of the counter on the other side of the kitchen and hopped up onto the edge, scooting back and wrapping my robe around me before patting the counter beside me with a smile as I looked at Dean, "Get up here, bro?"

Dean laughed, grabbing the carton of ice cream and giving me a look before he started to climb up onto the counter and sit beside me, "I thought I said you didn't have to call me that?"
