"So, did your mom contact you?" Hoseok asked as Jeongguk, who was sitting in between his legs. He had just finished a shower and wanted him to dry his hair.

"No, she wants nothing to do with me. I thought we discussed this."

"Well, what about your trial? They could put you away!"

"It was taken care of and the charges were dropped."

"...How?"

"My dad and Jimin's dad paid him a visit in the hospital. He has a few skeletons in the closet."

"Must be nice to be rich."

"We will get there one day," Jeongguk smiled.

"Alright, all done!" Hoseok exclaimed, putting the towel down.

"Thanks, it always feels nice to have someone else do it."

"Yeah, I know what you mean... So, how's your boyfriend?"

"Boyfriend? What boyfriend?"

"What was his name... Jaemin?"

"It's Jimin, and he isn't my boyfriend. I'm not sure what we are. We haven't discussed it."

"You should because I don't want you getting hurt by anyone."

"I know, but Jimin isn't like that. We just haven't had the time to sit down and talk about things."

"How long is he grounded for?"

"I'm not sure, I think Taehyung told me that he had his car taken away."

"So the school suspended you for two days, that's not so bad. What are you planning to do?"

"I might go to the park and do some painting. I haven't done it in a while."

"Can Hobie and I come? He hasn't really gotten out lately."

"Sure. The more the merrier."

🤍

"Uncle Jeongguk, how come you don't come over as much?" Hobie asked as he watched Jeongguk create pink lines on his canvas.

"I got a little busy, but don't worry, you have me completely now!"

"Then, can you read me a bedtime story tonight?"

"Of course I can."

Hobie hugged Jeongguk's arm, "I love you!"

"I love you too, bud. Hey, do you want to paint with me?"

"Can I really?!"

"Yep, but you have to be careful with the brushes, they were really expensive."

"I will!"

Jeongguk took out another canvas along with a few brushes and gave them to Hobie. The said boy began to do light strokes of blue, before looking at Jeongguk's painting, then making a couple more strokes.

Jeongguk just smiled as he continued to paint, listening to the wind sing songs in his ears. It was beautiful. It reminded him of his past, back when he was happy.

"Hey, that looks amazing. Are you selling that?"

Jeongguk looked up and saw a man dressed in a suit, standing in front of him.

"Are you talking to me?"

"I don't see any other talented artist."

"Oh..."

"Is it for sale?"

"I don't sell my art, Im sorry."

"No need to apologize," the man took out his wallet," here, take my card. I run an Art Gallery down the street. I would love for you to come and put some of your work up. And if you just want to see it, one of my clients is having a showing. I'd love for you to come."
