• title- (10/10)

the title is short, catchy, and good. it fits the story and the character oculto.

• cover- (9.5/10)

the cover is really nice. it's giving the dark vibes of the book. even without reading it, one will get small hints about the story. however the cover may be a little hazy, it can be my device problem but do check it once!

• blurb (8/10)

at first glance one might think that the blurb is a bit big but as you start reading you get immersed in it and then leave the readers with a cliffhanger which is what's needed so good job!

however this one line,
"and the monster in disguise will try its best to retain its mask until the end.

i think it would sound better if the "and" in the sentence is removed.

the aesthetic of the blurb could be better. you can highlight the keywords with another font to make it more eye-catching like
"because remember the monster in disguise can be 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲"

• 1st impression- (5/5)

the first impression of this book is really nice. the title and the cover give out dark vibes, the blurb makes it more interesting and leaves the readers with a cliffhanger. all three of these make a reader wanna read the book by heart. the writing style is smooth which adds a cherry on top.

• writing style & grammar- (29/30)

the writing style is just amazing. you have a great vocabulary but there are some very minor grammatical mistakes. i found only one or two somewhere from the first few chapters. i tried to find them while writing this review but i never found things when i actually needed them so go through the chapters a bit more thoroughly before publishing. otherwise, it's really good.

• povs/narrator- (5/5)

the story was mostly written from the author's and elle's points of view. the change between them was not bad. the change was not uncertain or sudden. it's good to go.

• plot- (17/20)

the plot is quite unique. when i first started reading it i was like "there may be similar stories or movies" and to be honest i think there are books/ movies with similar stories but this book is unique in its own way. the book starts with the girl describing how miserable her life was and regretting not listening to her parents. but what threw me off in a good way was it was all a story written by elle but of course, that's not the end. overall it's a really nice story, good job!

• overall impression- (10/10)

my experience while reading this book is great. it has everything it needs to catch a reader's attention. the writing style and the vocabulary used are so good that i almost forgot that i wasn't reading it for fun and that i have to write a review lol. nothing is perfect, so i cut marks here and there in order to make it better. everything can be made better somehow, and we just have to find a way to make it better. but yeah, keeping this apart it's a nice book and you did a great job!

• total- 93.5/100

• scope of improvement?
honestly, i think the book is already good enough as it is right now. i gave my opinion above, now it's up to you.
