Lockets and Crystals

"Where do we meet" Emma asked Cleo over the phone as she left the house.
"Let's meet at... The JuiceNet Cafe" Cleo said as she began to giggle.
"What? But the JuiceNet cafe shut down when Wilfred moved away and Ash had to go to college" Said Emma in a confused tone.
"You'll see. Just go to where it used to be" Said Cleo.

Emma walked over calmly to the place where the JuiceNet cafe was. When she arrived she found herself with quite a surprising sight. Instead of the JuiceNet, there was a new cafe called "Rikki's"
"What do you think?" Asked Rikki as she and Cleo appeared behind Emma.
"You have a cafe now?" Asked Emma in a skeptical tone.
"Eh, after me and Zane broke up it's not mine anymore. But it is named after me" Rikki smiled.
"Look Em, we know we told you we were going on a shopping spree but we lied. Sorry! We want you to bond with Bella and since Bella sings with her band at Rikki's we just thought, you know it would work out" Said Cleo in a nervous tone.
"It's ok Cleo, I understand. It's really great how you met a new mermaid while I was away" Emma touched her locket. "Oh! That reminds me!-"
As Emma began taking off her locket to return it to Cleo, she suddenly noticed Rikki and Cleo weren't wearing their lockets at all. Instead they were wearing some strange (in her opinion, a little ugly) blue crystal necklaces.
"Wait. Where are your lockets?" Emma asked.
"Oh, you still have my locket?" Cleo asked in a somewhat awkward and uncomfortable tone.
"Of course I do. I was gonna give it back to you. It was the only thing that reminded me of you girls while I was away" Emma said, her tone getting progressively more frustrated.
"We're sorry Emma. It's just Bella made herself this necklace with a crystal she found of the bottom of the moon pool she transformed in and-"
"Bella this! Bella that! You guys completely replaced me while I was away! Do you know how hard it was to be alone all around the world as a mermaid? I had no support from anyone!" Emma exclaimed. She finally broke down. She knew she was supposed to be the rational one in the group but she couldn't take it anymore especially since the girls had just lied to her.
"Well we're sorry Emma we can make you one if you'd like" said Cleo.
"Just forget it" Emma took off her locket and threw it at Cleo. She quickly ran past the girls and jumped straight into the water, disappearing beneath the waves.
"Seriously?" Rikki said.
"She's really upset. Should we follow her?" Cleo asked Rikki as she kneeled down to pick up her locket.
"Who cares? I almost forgot how much I hate when she gets like this" Rikki said with a tired and frustrated tone as she walked into the cafe.
Cleo looked down at her former locket. As much as she hated to admit it, she felt as if she had betrayed Emma.

Rikki felt the complete opposite way. Emma was so stubborn. Did she not realize that Bella felt the exact same way as her? And who was gonna comfort her? Sure Emma had been alone as a mermaid for 9 months but Bella had been alone as a mermaid for 9 years.
Rikki walked into the cafe as Bella had finished performing.
Bella looked around, she couldn't see Emma anywhere, despite the fact that the girls had promised she'd be there.
Bella walked over to Rikki.
"She hates me doesn't she?" Bella asked Rikki.
"No she doesn't. Emma's just naturally sour. Just give her time. It took her a while to get used to me" Rikki smiled as she held Bella's hand for comfort.
"Promise?" Asked Bella.
"Promise. I know Emma and she's being selfish. She's gonna love you" Smiled Rikki.
