I know you've read the title of the chapter and your thinking Huh? Why's he writing about school in the summer? For those of you who aren't reading this in the summer, it's summer while I'm writing this.
Well, I go to school in the summer. And no, it's not because I did bad at school. As you may know, I was doing pretty well at school. Pre-Ap everything this upcoming semester and last semester.
So, because of that, I applied for PREP. PREP is when you willingly give up seven weeks of your summer to go to school. You take high school classes for high school credits. It's always at a university. If you go for three summers, then you could get a scholarship to collage! But the classes are hard. We go Monday through Thursday. If you miss three days of PREP, you are automatically out of the program until next summer.
We also do fun projects. Last summer, we had to bud a bridge out of nothing but woodglue and popsicle sticks. Myn could hold me standing on it with my shoes on!
And no, I didn't make this chapter to brag. I want to encourage you to join PREP. You get to do fun projects, see a collage campus, and meet new people (lots of group projects). So at least consider it.
