This story is going to have two endings. One is a reality ending, the other is the fantasy ending. It's not true, trust me. I just thought of this during my social studies class.
-----
I was waiting, scared in the giant dome. The hurricane was terribly scary, but I'm even more scared now. We're running low on resources. We won't last two weeks. We have no way of communicating other States.
Even though I'm in the middle of a tragic day, I'm actually pretty board. My name is Jordan. The State is doing all they can, but it's not enough. Each passing minute feels like an eternity of waiting. So far nobody has come to help us. There are guards, keeping us from escaping this hell. I'm an orphan.
I was sitting on the floor, surrounded by anxious and worried people. The stench was terrible. None of us has showered in days. There's no bathroom, so we go outside where nobody is looking. I hated it.
I finally couldn't stand waiting. I stood up. I walked towards the door. There were sick and injured people all around the place. The people tried to stay away from the sick, for fear they get sick as well.
I walked outside. There were people standing outside as well. There were children crying, adults holding sighed yelling “ PLEASE SAVE US"! I was starting to believe that nobody was going to come for us. I saw the guards. Why aren't they letting us get away, and why do they have guns, I wondered. There were elderly in wheelchairs.
“Hey" someone shouted! I looked towards the source of the sound. It was a man. He ran towards me.“You shouldn't be alone, where are your parents" he asked? I looked at him with anger.“I'm an orphan with no family or friends, thanks for reminding me" I said! The man frowned at me.“I... I'm sorry, it's just that... You shouldn't be alone" he said. I glared at him.“Well I've been alone all of my life, why stop now" I said. The man looked at the ground.“I'm sorry, I'll leave you alone" he said. I nodded.
I walked away. I walked towards the bridge. When I got there, I saw the guards. They looked at me suspiciously, but other than that, they left me alone. I looked under the bridge. It was full of water and rubbish. Cars, trees, trash cans, I even saw a television!
I sighed, and screamed out in anger! AAAAAAHHHH! The guards looked at me.“WHY ARE YOU KEEPING US TRAPPED LIKE CAGED ANIMALS" I yelled!“WERE SICK OF THIS"! One of the guards looked at me.“If your so sick of it, then leave" said one of the guards.“I will" I said.
I walked past the guards, and over the bridge. They watched me, but didn't stop me. I left. And no one ever saw me again.
ENDING ONE: He survived and lived happily ever after.
ENDING TWO, REALITY: I die, and .... the end!
