Deshawn's P.O.V
I laughed and smiled to myself. I watched as Krystal got dressed. Damn, she seriously got a body on her. I just can't stop staring. Her belly hasn't grown into shape yet. I cannot wait on that though. To hold him/her and see them moving around in her stomach.
I cannot hold the secret any longer. We're having a baby. My parents are going to be so excited. They've been begging for grandchildren for as I can remember. Graduation night to be exact.
"Baby, can you help me?" Krystal asked
"Sure." I answered.
Her dress was beautiful. It was black and had a split down the side. It hugged her body enough but not too much.
Tonight's the night we tell our parents. I can only imagine their facial expressions. Then the following conversation will be about weather they want a boy or girl.
"You ready?" I asked.
"Yeah. Just need help tying this tie." He said.
I laughed. "Well, why didn't you ask?" I said. I could feel him eyeballing me.
"Baby? Can I -" he was interrupted by a phone call. I watched him answer it and stepped into a different room.
"Umph, I guess it's just you and me." I said rubbing my tummy. I sat on the bed and waited for Deshawn to return. His smile had disappeared from his face. I jumped off the bed and rushed to his side.
"What's the matter?" I asked.
He stared at me for moment and finally said, "Nothing. You ready?"
I shook my head and headed out the front door. As we sat in the car I stared at Deshawn. Figuring him out was easy. I could tell if he was lying. As long as we been together. I knew him better than I knew myself.
"There's something you're not telling me, Deshawn Omar! You cannot play me for a fool. Tell me!" I said.
He looked at me and said nothing. I rolled my eyes. We sat in the car without saying a word.
"Some fiancé you are" I thought to myselfWe finally made it to the restaurant. The place was very beautiful and decked out. I couldn't admire the beautiful place without my fiancé not speaking to me. So I kept all my thoughts inside my head.
