Don't break the illusion

*SUGURU'S POINT OF VIEW*
His eyes slowly lifting open, Suguru stretches his arms behind his head and over the back of the sofa in an attempt to wake himself up. After finally gaining a bearing on his surroundings, he turns to his right to see you, asleep, and propped against Satoru's side. He observes the way your lips are parted gently, and your hair has fallen to partially obscure your face.

Casting his gaze aside, he turns away from the peaceful, almost domestic image which is being presented before him.

If he keeps looking, it's only going to make things more difficult in the long run.

Hearing the sound of movement from beside him, he glances back as Satoru stretches upright slightly, waking from his sleep. Your body shifts to compensate for his movement as you push your face further into his neck. His eyes finally opening, Satoru turns to look at Suguru. His brow furrows slightly as he sees that Suguru is not meeting his gaze, but Satoru follows his eyeline to look down at you.

As you lean into him, he watches the slow rise and fall of your chest in your rhythm of sleep. Slowly, Satoru reaches up a hand, lifting it to your face to gently brush your hair out of the way.

He's surprised however, when someone grabs his wrist, stopping his fingertips as they're just millimetres away from you. He looks up in surprise at Suguru, who's got his hand extended over you and is stopping Satoru from getting any closer. Suguru raises an eyebrow slightly at him in a questioning manner.

Satoru knows exactly what he's saying without any words being exchanged between the two men.

Don't get too close.

Satoru looks between Suguru and you, back and forth repeatedly. Suguru's grip eventually loosens and his hand falls back to his side, leaving Satoru's fingers still millimetres from your face. He watches as Satoru retracts his hand back to his side, his better judgement resurfacing and sense returning. The two men are startled when you toss in your sleep restlessly, your brow furrowing possibly due to whatever your dreaming about, and your body shifting sideways.

Unconsciously moving, your body turns away from Satoru and instead flops against Suguru. Your arm stretching across his front, practically grasping onto him and your head resting against his chest. Suguru looks down at your resting form emotionlessly.

A stifled chuckle comes from beside him and he looks over to his best friend who is trying to hold back his laughter.

Suguru's trying to distance himself from you, he really is. Yet still, you seem to put him in situations where he can never truly do so.

*BACK TO Y/N'S POINT OF VIEW*
Hearing the sound of stifled laughter, I'm pulled from my sleep as my eyes slowly blink open. Despite my unorthodox sleeping position, whatever I'm lying on feels so warm that I don't really care what angle I'm at right now. The sound of laughter grows louder as I let out a groan, just wanting to go back to sleep. Stretching my hand out in front of me, my palm touches something hard and warm.

My eyes finally adjust to the morning light, and I look down only to see that I'm currently grabbing at someone's thigh. Wait... someone's thigh? I shoot upright on the sofa, my hair flying over my face and body becoming taught as I do so. I was lying on Suguru in my sleep? Quickly, I retract my hand from his leg and shoot the laughing Satoru a glare over my shoulder.

I look back towards Suguru in embarrassment only to see an amused grin on his face as he looks over to me. I feel a small blush spread across my cheeks as I unfurl my legs from their crossed position and begin to get up from the sofa.

"m' sorry... I didn't realise I was..." I begin to mumble with my back faced to them as I start to pace away from the sofa. To be honest, I'm still half asleep and can't really be bothered to come up with some bullshit excuse to save my dignity. In fact, I've been stripped of most of it here already after living with Satoru and Suguru for a the past few weeks.
