Despite the rough night he had last night, where he spilled his heart out to his lovers, Xiao Zhan felt lightheaded in the warmth of their embrace. He was buried under their warm arms draped over his stomach, faces pressed into the nooks of his neck, their soft breaths fanning his skin, and the comforting scent of their pheromones filling the air.

A contented smile graced his lips as he basked in the morning sun's warmth that filtered through the see-through curtains of his bedroom. The room was illuminated in a soft, golden glow, further enhancing the peaceful atmosphere created by his two loving alphas.

Xiao Zhan wished this peaceful and wonderful day could last forever. However, he knew that getting involved with him came with a consequence, given the looming shadow of his father's and his stepmother's will, threatening to disrupt the tranquility. He sighed as he mentally shook off his unwanted thoughts. He was in the present, and he refused to let anything spoil his day.

Sweeping the ugly thoughts to the back of his mind, he decided to stay in bed a bit longer, enjoying the presence of his alphas, until one of them woke up. He hummed a soothing tune that popped into his mind, eyes closed to savor the moment.

Not long after, one of the alphas stirred from sleep. The older alpha slowly awakened, tightening his embrace around Xiao Zhan for a brief moment before gently releasing his hold and directing his gaze at the omega's face. He leaned in, pressing a tender kiss to Xiao Zhan's lips, mistakenly thinking he was still asleep. Then, he withdrew from the tangled bodies and made his way to the bathroom to freshen up.

Xiao Zhan suppressed a swoon and a blush, doing his best to remain unaffected by the older alpha's sweet gesture, even though he was half-naked, his bare torso tempting him to stare longer. He waited for Yibo to leave the room before exhaling a held breath, which he didn't realize he had been doing while he pretended to be asleep.

He opened his eyes, gazing at the other alpha who was still peacefully asleep beside him. A soft smile spread across his face as he took in the sight. Xiao Zhan's hand reached out, gently caressing the younger alpha's cheek with the back of his hand, not intending to wake him up. However, Xie Yi must have sensed the touch, stirring and slowly opening his eyes.

Xie Yi smiled, still half-asleep, and nuzzled his cheek into Xiao Zhan's hand, humming contentedly. "Hmmorning," he greeted, eyes closing once again as he nestled closer, his head resting on the omega's chest where he could hear his heartbeat.

Xiao Zhan chuckled at Xie Yi's response, "Morning," he replied, planting a gentle peck on the younger alpha's cheek.

"Did you have a good sleep?" Xie Yi inquired, his eyes still half-closed, comfortably resting against Xiao Zhan's chest.

Xiao Zhan grinned, his gaze tenderly following Xie Yi's tousled hair. "Yeah. I feel better," he replied, the soreness in his cheeks nearly forgotten, thanks to the warmth of their embrace.

"Good," Xie Yi hummed, allowing a soft purr to escape him.

The two of them spent a few more minutes lazing in bed before the aroma of bacon and coffee wafted into the room, coaxing their stomachs to rumble in response. They chuckled at their own silliness and decided it was time to get up.

Both promptly left the bed to wash their faces in the bathroom, before heading to the kitchen, where the delicious smells led them. They discovered Yibo already in the kitchen, busy with breakfast preparations.

Yibo noticed them, his head turning to glance in their direction before returning to his tasks. "Oh, morning," he greeted with a warm smile.

Xie Yi decided to help his brother, grabbing an extra apron from the counter and tying it around his waist. "You could've woken me up!" he grumbled at his brother, joining him in preparing the meal.

Yibo shook his head, unfazed by the complaint. "You're a heavy sleeper," he quipped, resuming his cooking duties.

Xiao Zhan couldn't help but notice Yibo's bare back, with the apron covering only his front. His heart raced at the sight, and he quickly averted his gaze to avoid being caught staring. However, he couldn't help but let his thoughts wander.

He attempted to distract himself and turned his attention to Xie Yi, who wore a gym tank top. Even though the shirt covered most of his upper body, Xiao Zhan found himself captivated by the contours of his muscular frame. With a gentle cough, he redirected his focus, trying to shake off his inappropriate thoughts.

Unable to concentrate on anything else, he decided to lower his eyes and hum a song that came to mind. As he did, he felt his desires being overshadowed by the lyrics and melody, creating a mental barrier against his wandering thoughts.

Unexpectedly, he felt a tap on the table, drawing his attention back up. Both alphas were looking at him, their expressions filled with concern. "You okay?" Yibo asked, his gaze fixed on Xiao Zhan. "Is your cheek painful?" he inquired, noticing the faint blush on the omega's face.

Xiao Zhan chuckled sheepishly, "It's fine. It doesn't hurt anymore," he replied, attempting to hide his embarrassment by averting his gaze from their intent stares.

"If it hurts, tell us, okay?" Xie Yi offered, his eyes brimming with genuine concern. Xiao Zhan nodded in response, grateful for their unwavering support.

"Shall we eat?" Xiao Zhan asked, attempting to divert their attention away from the sensitive topic since their stomachs were clamoring for breakfast.

The two alphas gladly agreed, and the three of them enjoyed their meal which was full of laughter, love, and the warmth of their bond soothing the unease that still lingered in the air.

In the presence of his lovers, Xiao Zhan's heart overflowed with tranquility, his concerns temporarily forgotten as he relished each precious moment. Oblivious to the hidden schemes of his stepmother, he allowed himself to be completely immersed in the love and warmth they provided.
