(Narrator POV)

"Y/n-ah! I'm back." Minji called out to her girlfriend sweetly.

"Is that her!?" Minjun asked excitedly jumping off from Y/n's lap and running over to Minji at the door.

"Jun-ah! Come back here!" Y/n scoffed, chasing her younger brother.

But before Y/n could even catch him, Minjun stood before Minji.

Minji looked down, tilting her head in curiosity as she crouched down.

Minji smiled as she saw some sort of resemblance of Y/n, she could tell that it was Y/n's younger brother.

"Are you Y/n's little brother?" Minji smiled.

"Yeah!" He nodded, "how did you know?" He asked.

"You guys look like siblings." Minji smiles, "can I pick you up?" she held her arms out to the little boy.

Skeptical at first, Minjun squinted his eyes before remembering that Minji was probably Y/n's girlfriend. And since he looks up to Y/n a lot and always wants to make her happy, he complied.

"Yeah!" He nodded, before feeling Minji easily lift him up into her arms.

"What's your name?" Minji smiled fondly at him.

"Minjun, I'm Park Minjun, Y/n's younger brother." He smiled, "and I'm seven years old." He nodded.

"Oh that's cool, nice to meet you Minjun, I'm Kim Minji." She smiled and leaned in to whisper by Minjun's ear, "I'm Y/n's girlfriend." She chuckled as she pulled away.

Minji watched as Minjun's eyes brightened and began to giggle.

"I knew it!!" He said excitedly.

"Knew what?" Y/n approached Minji and Minjun.

"Nothing!" Minjun shrugged, turning away from his sister.

Y/n noticed Minjun in Minji's arms, comfortably held in her arms. It was unusual for Minjun to let someone hold him like that.

Whenever Y/n's cousins or aunts try to hold Minjun, he would never let them. But it seems like he didn't have a problem with Minji doing it to him.

"Hey Minji," Y/n smiled approaching her girlfriend.

"Hey~" Minji said playfully, "where are your parents?" She asked, still holding Minjun.

"In the dining room, they can't see you yet." Y/n replied.

"Oh? And how come this little one can." Minji smiled towards Minjun.

"Because he got too excited." Y/n laughed, "he saw your name on my phone when you called."

"I see.." Minji laughed, "a little trouble maker like your sister hm?" Minji chuckled, looking at Minjun.

"I don't make too much trouble," Minjun replied innocently, "mummy said I'm well behaved."

"That's good then." Minji nodded.

"Can you put him down for a second." Y/n requested.

"Why?" Minji asked, "he likes it here."

Y/n frowned a little, "I want something from you, that I always do when you come home." Y/n replied.

It took Minji a few seconds to process and think, what Y/n could possibly want from her.

Then it clicked.

"Oh right," Minji put down Minjun, "hey, why don't you go back to your mum, I'll join you with Y/n in a second." Minji said while crouching down to Minjun.

"Okay!" Minjun nodded, running off back into the dining room.

Y/n smiled, "thanks." Leaning in to gently press her lips against her girlfriend's once Minji stood up.

Y/n pulled away from the sweet kiss, "was that what you wanted." Minji asked, her hands resting at Y/n's waist.

"Mhm..." Y/n nodded, "I've missed you today."

Minji laughed, "of course you have." Minji smiled, softly pecking Y/n's lips again, "let's go to your parents before they get impatient." She suggested, reminding Y/n about her parents who were waiting in the dining room.

"Oh right." Y/n laughed, before gently taking her girlfriend's hand and bringing her to the dining room.

Minji and Y/n walked in, seeing Y/n's parents both sat down, talking before their attention was brought away from their conversation by Minji's presence.

"Mum, dad." Y/n called out, "this is Minji, Minji, my parents." Y/n smiled nervously.

Y/n's mum smiled, "nice to meet you Minji, have a seat will you, both of you." She said in a friendly manner.

The couple sat down, Minjun who was previously in his dad's lap, moved to climb onto Minji's lap instead.

"Seems like Minjun's already liking you." Y/n's dad laughed.

"I guess so as well." Minji laughed.

"Anyways, Y/n would you care to explain what you were going to say earlier?" Y/n's mum turned to her daughter.

"Yeah.." Y/n spoke nervously, she felt her hand being held by Minji's, her warm hand calming her down a little before she could speak properly.

"Well, as you know, this is Minji.. She's my girlfriend." Y/n spoke slowly.

She watched her parents expressions attentively. Watching as her mum and dad both began to smile.

"We've been together for nearly a year now," Y/n said slowly, still feeling some sort of uncertainty in her words, and what type of reaction it would produce from her parents.

"I like it." Y/n's mum nodded.

"Yeah. I agree, I don't mind you two being together." Y/n's dad smiled.

"Really?" Y/n asked in shock.

"Yes Y/n," her mum nodded, "as long as you're happy then I am." She smiled.

"Also, if Minjun likes Minji, then I'm okay with it." Y/n's dad laughed, "you know how picky he is with people."

"Yay!!!" Minjun celebrated, "I can spend time with Minji noona!!" He smiled happily.

They all laughed at Minjun's cuteness.

"But seriously, if Minji here, is taking care of you properly and making you happy, I have no problem with you two being together." Y/n's dad nodded.

Y/n sighed in relief, thankful that her parents accepted her relationship with Minji.

"Thank you," Y/n smiled, going over to hug both her parents.

"Of course Y/n," her mum smiled, "we're meant to support you, that's what we're here for."

Minji smiled, also happy that her parents allowed the relationship between her and Y/n.

"I love you guys lots," Y/n smiled, hugging her parents tightly.

The parents both laughed at Y/n's sudden affection.

"Okay enough Y/n," Y/n's dad laughed, "sit down so we can talk some more, we still have some catching up to do."

"Yeah sure!"
