Getting in is a lot harder than it should be and Jake falls to hands and knees as he gasps for air.
Corky jumps from him and hurries off.Eric steadies Jake as Collin comes in past the YetI, "Crap, you got heavy."
He puts Timothy on his feet as he reports, "I felt weightless for a moment."
Eric fusses up at them, "You were, metaphysical.
"The female energy had to be carried through, the YetI barrier."Jake gets his breath back, "Warning would have been nice."
Timothy snorts, "I'm not girly."
Eric helps Jake to his feet, "Bet every golden lock, if Jake can't resist you, you have feminine energy."
They look to the camp site and breathe in fear.
An animal skin tent is set up really close to the campfire, it's boxy, but not square and might be six foot tall.
It's been waxed and oiled to a few shades of browns and grayish greens.
The flap is open, but the bright light in it, keeps them from seeing inside past the large roaring fire encircled by black rocks. On the other side of the campfire, is Walker.
He sits on his butt with his legs nearly straight out.His body is straped to a fat fresh cut stump of a mesquite tree with branches worked like rope.
His arms are tied back to the stump, his legs are stapled into the ground by curved branches, but for his ankles which are held by iron grown up from the ground.Raw gold has been twisted to crown with silver barbs and pressed into his head.
Where each silver barbs went in there is dried blood. He has two blackening eyes, one swollen enough they wonder how well he can see.
His cheek has been cut and mended with a mossy leaf still pressed to it.
His lip is fat and cut, but has been cleaned. His shirt looks like he was wrestling a clawed animal and half of one pant leg has been cut away to tend the gash that looks much like it was made by bone coming out.
He looks tried, sweaty and annoyed.
Just behind the stump is the rest of the tree cut to firewood.
Two elegant chairs have been made of mesquite, they sit low and face the fire on the far side at a more comfortable space than the tent or Walker.
One has a fine hideskin pillow on the seat and the other has a half made matching pillow, showing the cloud stuffing in it.Behind the chair stands the eleven foot Wandering YetI.
His hair is white on the old rhyme places... head, shoulders, knees and toes, eyes, ears, mouth and nose.
He's red-brown highlighted blond on the rest of him.He wears full short shorts, has two leather straps that cross over his chest, with matching belt high above his shorts.
The hard part for their brains, is the shorts are fryker made fight shorts. His eyes seem too big for his face, are moist and turquoise, with copper pupils.
His face is bare of hair like a man's with thin line like beard and fresh cut down mustache. He has his arm around Abigail's head to rest his large hand over her whole shoulder.
Corky has their attention as he leans about not touching Walker to look over his condition.
Jake asks, "Are you alright, Walker?"
He looks, but gives no sign of reaction.
The YetI orders in a booming voice, "Silent, Trespasser."
Collin points at the YetI, "Don't talk to my dad like that."
Jake worries, but the YetI laughs, "What a bag of piss and wind.
"Come in, come in, flying man.
"Bring your dad and friends."
