Chapter Two

                                                                                    -Y/n's Pov-

I groaned and flopped over as my alarm clock blared in my ears. I stumbled out of bed, smacking my alarm clock, which didn't stop. I gave a yell of annoyance then hit it again, shutting it up.

I quickly got dressed, ate breakfast, brushed my teeth. Then grabbed my bag and touch-me-not, then stepped out the door. I got onto my bike, putting my plant in the basket, making sure it was secure. I pedaled until I stopped at a long, long, lonnngg, row of steps. I sighed as I pushed my bike and stuff up the stairs.

I slowly walked up the stairs, then quickened my pace as I saw the doors. I set my bike outside and knocked on the door.

After a minute a guy with longish black hair, a black and orange gi, and dark brown eyes opened the door.

" Uh- you must be the new girl." He said, slightly awkward, " Come in." He opened up the doors.

"What's your name?" He asked, curious.

"Uh Y/n. You?"

"Cole." He said with a small smile. I smiled back.

As we walked into the monastery, I saw  a small group of people and Master Wu of course. 

"You must be the newbie." A guy in a red gi hissed tauntingly.

"And you must be the-" I started but was cut off by another guy.

"This is Kai- I'm Zane." A weirdly metallic looking guy interrupted, he had on a white gi, "Thats Pixal" Zane glanced at a girl similar to him, the same metallic color, she smiled. 

A girl with black hair in a pony tail came in. Followed by a guy with short reddish brown hair.  They were arguing, in a way that seemed playful and taunting.

"That's Nya, and Jay." Cole said to me, nodding toward the two, " That's Lloyd." He said motioning to a guy with longish blonde hair and green eyes.

"So. What are your powers." Jay said, narrowing his eyes slightly, Nya saw this and elbowed him in the rib cage.

"I'm the Elemental Master of Nature." I say, trying not to glance down at my touch-me-not.

There was a moment of silence, "Could you demonstrate?" Kai said slowly, his voice cold.

"Yeah outside." I answered with the same cold tone. 

"Why not inside-" I cut him off and started to go outside the monastery. I took a deep breath once I got outside, knowing they were all watching. I then took my stance, my eyes and hands glowing a sage color. I made a large weeping willow grow. I turned around to see eight amazed looking faces. Cole grinned at me as he saw my willow tree. I grinned back sheepishly

"Sorry but how does this help in a fight." Jay asked skeptically.

I couldn't help smiling as I made the tree come to life, it's vines whipping around, it looked almost like a dragon. I let the tree settle and go back to a peaceful state. I gave another sheepish grin. Kai stormed off.

I looked at Cole and the others with a puzzled expression, it was hard not to be slightly annoyed. What did I do?

Cole walked over to me, "Your power, It's amazing. But don't worry about Kai.. He's upset that your joining- He's not used to change." Cole says, his eyes thoughtful.

Lloyd came up to the two of us, "Y/n, why not we let you unpack, show you to your room?" 

"Okay." I said with a smile, feeling my stomach stir with excitement.
