Chapter Thirteen

Lloyd's Pov:

I was snuggled in bed next to Angel when I heard Lily start to cry again. I sat up. I heard one of the two parents get up(since our bedrooms are right across from each other in the hall), and start cooing gently to the baby. 

Angel sat up next to me, "She's fine." He said, putting a hand on mine. A moment later her crying stopped. 

Angel laid his head back down on his pillow, I laid my head down next to his. I heard the huge brown newfoundland trott by our cracked door. She peeked in then kept walking. A moment later, after checking the other rooms she turned back toward Y/n and Cole's room. She nosed open the door to check on us again, then went back into the room with her mom.

I started to sit up again, opening my mouth.Angel gently pushed me back down onto the bed.

"Shhh." He murmured, bringing a finger to my lips.

Angel wrapped his arms around me, stroking my hair gently, "She's fine."

"You need sleep babe."

"I slept last night." I sighed as my boyfriend combed through my hair.

"Lloyd.."

"What, I did." I said, tilting my head back to meet his eyes. Angel frowned, knowing I hadn't.

"So your not going to sleep anymore tonight hm?" Angel sighed with a half smile.

"Probably not."

"Ok then." Angel kissed me on my forehead. Then went back to combing through my hair, "But why not you try to. It'll be good for you."

I sighed but agreed. He continued to run his fingers through my hair, humming a song lightly. I felt my eyelids droop slightly.. 

Angel's Pov:

The blonde was asleep within seconds. I smiled, it always worked with him. He was so wound up about the baby being home. He was as bad as Maple for god's sake. I kissed him softly on the lips. He smiled lightly in his sleep and rolled over facing me. 

"You have to give yourself a break Lloyd." I mumbled more to myself. I wrapped my arms around the boy. Falling asleep quickly myself.

Cole's Pov:

Lily woke up with another wail. I groaned into my pillow. 

"It's your turn." Y/n sighed from beside me, burying her head into the pillows.

I got up with a long sigh. I went over to the small padded cradle. Lifting the newborn out. 

"Hey kid, your okay sweetheart." I murmured, she continued to cry louder.

"Lily. Shhh." I said, bouncing her, trying to get her to fall back asleep. Her wailing grew louder.

"You tell anyone.. Anyone.. I will never do it again.." I said looking sternly at the baby, "I swear I have no more dignity to spare."

I set the baby in the cradle, taking a deep breath, " Shine little glow-worm, glimmer glimmer." I danced, lightly grinning.

"Hey there don't get dimmer dimmer."

"Glow little glow-worm. Glow and glimmer."

"Swim through the sea of night, little swimmer."

"Shine! Glow little glow-worm. Glow and glimmer."

"Swim through the sea of night. Little swimmer."
