Y/n's Pov:
"Can I pleaseeeee see Daddy today!?" Lily begged following me around the kitchen as I made lunch.
"Sweetie daddy's still hurting. We need to give him time to rest and a little bit of time to himself." I sighed.
"Mommyyy." She whined, "He's been in there for a long time.. I bet he's lonely. I would be lonely."
"I just.." I started but stopped. The thing Lily didn't know was that her Dad was unconscious in bed. Covered in burns, bruises, and scars. He couldn't even walk.
"Just what?" She cried as Kai walked in.
"Just the perfect time for lunch!" Kai roared, picking up Lily by her feet and dangling her upside down. She squealed and flopped over on the couch. Kai gave her a piggy back into the kitchen.
"Can I go see him now?" Lily asked with a sigh still on Kai's back.
Before I could say anything she cut me off, "You never said a reason why I couldn't."
"I gave you three reasons!" I shouted from over by the stove.
"Probably not good ones." Kai coughed loudly.
"He's right they weren't." Lily grinned, I glared at both of them.
"She's grouchy today." Lily whispered loudly Into Kai's ear.
"Yeah I know. This morning she tried to throw a broom at me." He mumbled back.
"You two are really bad at whispering." Jay deadpanned as he walked into the kitchen. Filling his cup of coffee, still in pajamas.
"Did you just wake up Loud Uncle?"
"First off: why am I loud uncle? And second: yeah." Jay answered.
"Well duh. Cause you're loud." Lily rolled her eyes, getting off of Kai. I talked to the boys for a while before realizing Lily had gone into the other room. Cole's.
Kai smirked. I hissed at him, " You helped her do that!"
I walked into the room, Cole was awake and smiling lightly. Lily was standing by the bed, unshaken by the wires and IV's. By the fact Cole was crushed.
Cole's Pov:
I was staring at the ceiling. Half asleep and bored out of my freaking mind. When I heard the door open with a creak, and footsteps. I looked up expecting Y/n but saw Lily.
"Daddy!" She cried running over to the bed.
"Hey glow worm."I smiled at her. Then grunted in pain as I sat up.
"I don't want you to be hurt anymore." She looked at me with big eyes. I felt a tear run out of my eye. I smiled lightly, putting a hand onto hers.
"Well.. we don't always get what we want. Do we?"
