Chapter - 13

There was once a time when Earth and Comly-5 were sister planets, one had dinosaurs while on the other the process of human evolution had already begun. During the asteroid disaster which led to the end of the dinosaur age, royals of Comly-5 tried their best to save as many dinosaurs but due to bad time management they couldn't reach there on time. After the guilt of not saving those innocent lives, the royals decided to not repeat the same mistake and formed a defense team which monitors every single movement of Earth to protect it from any further crisis. 

Everything was going smoothly until the evolution of humans on Earth which changed everything. At first, people of both planets got along well but because of the greater strength of Comly-5 humans, they started to have conflicts. Then the ancestors of both planets decided that for the peace of both planets, it was better to cut all ties and live separately. A new law was made that if anyone tries to make contact then they will be punished. During that separation everything changed and many stories were left incomplete but the defense team was left active and worked secretly.

In the palace, Amber was searching for Sera as she was unaware that she left with the king for Earth. Castor asked her if she needed anything with Sera and she told him that she needed to express her thanks to Sera for saving her earlier in the car.

"If she didn't support me with her hand then I would have hurt badly"

"It's okay. You can thank her later"

"I thought every human on earth is bad but I guess she is not"

"Hmm...maybe we should not judge everyone on the same scale"

"Right"

"Wait! W-what did you say?"

"What?"

"How did you know she is an earthling?"

"Didn't you realize it little late"

"Still... how did you know?"

"I heard your conversation earlier when you were fighting outside King's room"

"Did you hear the full conversation?", he was nervous as if she heard Sera saying that he likes Amber.

"Yes. I heard it all, including the secret she used to shut your mouth"

"W-wait...let me explain...Amber, actually it's not like...", he gets nervous and before he can get more embarrassed, she holds his hand and looks straight into his eyes and says that she was aware of this earlier even before she engaged with Ray but was not sure. She tells him that she is not upset or angry with him but she can't replicate his feelings because her heart belongs to Prince Ray for a reason. He gets shattered hearing this, though he expected it to be like this but when it actually happens he feels like something inside him breaks, he is facing his biggest nightmare and can't think of how to react. He can't even force himself to smile because his eyes are moist already. She leaves his hand and leaves. He was standing there blank and tears rolled from his eyes. He was not upset because he got rejected but because he got rejected even before he could express his feelings.

At night, the Queen called Ray, Amber and Castor for dinner. They were together but both Ray and Castor were absent-minded. One is thinking about Sera and one is heartbroken. Suddenly Left and Right rushed into the room and informed Ray that there had been some abnormal movements recorded from Earth and maybe the disaster which was supposed to come the day after tomorrow would come today! Ray stands in shock and orders them to get prepared as they will leave now.

"King is also there and Sera also, make sure to protect them Ray", the Queen expressed her concern. He nodded and left for Earth with his team. All the way he was concerned, his heart was unexpectedly beating fast and he felt nervous for the first time ever.
