Chapter - 22

"Castor, Ray!", called out king.

"Yes, Dad!", they replied.

"Not Dad but as King of North Comly and guardian of these innocent girls...", he didn't finish his words but both began to laugh after hearing 'innocent' girls.

"YOU DARE TO LAUGH!!" King shouted and both the boys quickly apologised for it and the girls were just enjoying their suffering.

"It doesn't look like you need their hands"

"No, Dad...I mean King, we love them and not only hand, we want them whole!", said Castor nervously. 

"Okay! So now I want to know if you are capable of taking care of my princesses?"

With the king's word, Sera becomes emotional and her eyes filled with tears as she didn't accept this much affection from someone whom she was lying to in the very first place. She was feeling guilty over the fact that they love her dearly but she is hiding the fact of being an earthling.

"I don't know whether I'm perfect for her or not but I will make sure to have everything perfect for her and to give her perfect love, perfect life, perfect family and perfect partner", Castor replied to his question while looking at Amber, she gets emotional and replied that she don't want perfect, she just want him even if it is a little messed up.

They both smiled to each other and hugged but with the king's one look, he moved back to his place and Amber sat quietly.

"Ray, what about you?", asked the king but found him not listening at all.

"Ray! Ray! Are you listening?" he repeats but Ray was only looking at Sera and her anxious face and her efforts to control her tears. She suddenly stood up and was about to say something but Ray pulled her aside and told them to wait for a while. He took her to his room and hugged her tight.

"What are you doing?", she asked with a low tone

"Just comforting my little dinosaur who is going to let her secrets out in front of King"

"I can't lie to him. He...he just said 'my princess' to me... how can I still lie to him?"

"Don't worry", he pats her back to comfort her.

"I want to tell him the truth and even if he won't let us together than...", he kissed her to stop her words and told her, "He won't allow me to do many things but I still do them and in your case, even the universe can't stop me. Nobody can lay a finger on you in my presence, so don't overuse your brain in such things and just smile for me".

She looked at him with moist eyes and nodded with a smile. He hugged her and smiled.

"Should we go out now?", she asked him.

"Are you still going to tell the truth?"

"I want to!"

"Then promise me one thing...", before he could say anything, she stops him by putting her finger on his mouth and told him that she knew what he wanted but she can't promise it because she can't bear to see him on bad terms with his family. They went out and everyone was worried about her.

"What happened Sera? Is something bothering you?" asked King in a soft tone.

"Uncle, I want to tell you something", she said worriedly and held Ray's hand tightly.

"Say it..."

"Actually...I...", she got anxious and looked at Ray, he signed her to be calm and assure her that he is with her. She continued , "I hide something about me from both of you. Actually, I'm an earthling! I'm sorry!"

There was complete silence, both Castor and Amber got nervous thinking about the king and queen's reaction to it but to their surprise, the queen got up and gently pats her head and replied, "Are you ashamed of being an earthling?"

"Of Course not! That's my planet, my people and I can't hate my home"

"Then why are you apologising?"

"Because you treat me like a family but I hide and lie to you. That's why I want to apologise..."

"Is that what makes you this anxious? Silly girl, we both knew that"

"Huh! You knew that! Since when and how?" Ray asked in amaze and Sera was standing shocked and surprised. King laughed and told her that earlier when she was fighting with Castor outside their room, he heard about her being earthling.

"I will write that day in history", claimed Castor laughingly.

"But if you knew this then why didn't you say so earlier?", asked Sera in confusion.

"King don't judge people from their planet but from their own self. He went with you to your planet just to see if you will take advantage of it or you are a good person and...", said the Queen.

"And...?"

"And you passed the test by saving me. But still you lie to us, so I will punish you", said the king making everyone perplexed.

"Dad, I told her to not say anything... If you want then punish me...", Ray tried to protect her but King told him to be quiet and listen.

"It's okay, I accept any punishment because I did lie and break your trust", replied Sera with a down face.

"So as for your punishment, you have to...", everyone was tense on what he was going to do and Ray held her hand tightly.

"You have to be together with Prince Ray and you can't leave him and us", King completed his words and with a warm smile blessed them and pats her head to ease her mind. She gets emotional and bursts into tears.

"Oh...don't cry...I just...If you don't like Ray then I can help you choose another Prince as well...", King gets nervous and the queen scolds him for teasing her and hugging her to comfort her.

"Dad! You can't!", Ray shouted and hugged her tightly. Everyone was beaming with happiness and comforted her.

"King, for your question earlier, I don't know if I'm capable of her but I know one thing for sure that in this life she will be the only one I will love and protect at all cost!" Ray replied and hugged his little crying dinosaur.

"Don't cry...I'm here for you and you look too cute while crying, I can't handle that", he teases her and she hits him after being shy and smiles.

Day ended with a happy note and everyone went to their rooms. Flora was sleeping like a log after the whole rollercoaster day and Ray was staring her love through the window and a smile won't leave his face for a second.

"So that's what people call love. I see...indeed beautiful ! ", he thought and once again the night passed by witnessing their blooming romance.

"Hey Flora, want to go for a double date?", asked Amber excitingly.
