Chapter - 21

Sera gains consciousness and finds herself captivated. "Hey! WHO ARE YOU!? Release me right now!", she began to shout after finding herself tied on a chair with a blindfold. She struggles to get free but in vain.

"Don't tire yourself, girl... I did a great job in tying you", a sharp girl's voice said to Sera.

"Who are you? What are you doing with me?"

"Nothing just punishing you and showing you your real place"

"What punishment? What did I do to you?"

"You took away my love!"

"What? Are you mad? What love? Who?"

"Don't behave all innocent in front of me!", she shouted and slapped her making her lips cut and bleed.

"YOU!!! How dare you touch me!? Free me and I will show you...", Sera gets furious and tries to untie her hands.

"I loved Prince Castor for so long but you took away him. I won't let you live..."

"What!? Are you mad? We are just friends and he is..." said Sera and warned her to leave her.

"YOU!!...", she was about to attack her but suddenly the door broke and Ray entered the room with White and Castor. Amber rushed towards Sera and freed her hands.

"You better not move and stay still. I won't be lenient just because you are a girl", warned Ray to the kidnapper. Sera moved to her and slapped her, she was about to attack back but Ray quickly pulled her back and White stopped the girl's attack. Later, the guards arrested her and took her away.

"Are you alright Sera?", asked Castor in a worried tone while checking her for any injury.

"I'm fine"

"I'm sorry, Sera. It's because of me...", said Amber in a worried tone.

"It's not your fault. Currently, my luck is not with me", said Sera and told her not to worry.

"Let's go back. Dad told us to come back as he got to know about your kidnapping. He is worried", said Castor and they all went back to the palace. Amber and Castor get ready to depart while Ray is waiting for Sera who was talking with White before they leave for North Comly.

"White... Actually, I need to say..."

"I know what you want to say. Just don't say it, I'm not ready to hear", he said with a stiff smile.

"I don't like to leave things hanging. Let's be clear. I'm well aware of your feelings and to be honest, I also felt that you are entirely different from the one I heard. I want to apologize for saying those words earlier about you competing with Ray, I didn't mean that. I'm sorry"

"It's okay, I didn't feel bad. In fact, I should be the one to apologize for making you feel embarrassed in front of everyone by confessing. I just want to give it a last chance even when I know the result"

"I know it hurts but keeping someone's hope hanging is more hurtful than anything. That's why it will be better to be friends who share a common interest"
