23 - Our day pt.2

*Chris pov*

I take a deep breath as I walk over to my spot. Everyone is seated, except for David of course cause he's gonna walk Emma. Ryan, Carly's husband will declare us husband and wife so he's standing behind me, while Scott is right next to me and Matt standing opposite.

The music on the record player changes and I see Stella walking beside Dodger as she throws petals in the air, behind her Ethan and Miles with a ring each.
My smile only gets bigger by the second and when I see Emma appear, holding hands with her father I might just burst...gosh she's beautiful!
I feel Scot pat my back and giving me a little hug as I watch her walk to me, she really is stunning, plus our baby bump...like...never seen something better!
"I trust you Chris..." David says as he lays Emma's hand in mine
"Thank you David"
He side hugs me before kissing again Emma's cheek and finally we stand in front of each other
"Hi" she says
"You're breathtaking baby"
She giggles as she blushes then says "you're very handsome"
"Thanks"

"Shall we?" Ryan asks and we nod
"Our families are here today to celebrate Chris and Emma's special day. In a matter of minutes they'll become husband and wife, ready to share a new chapter of their lives. I know the both of you wrote little vows to each other...so Emma if you want to start" Ryan says
"Chris, we're standing here today promising to always love each other, to be there for the other in good and bad times. A year ago I would have never thought to be in a relationship, my only thought was my mom and my work, then you came along that day outside of the hospital, I probably never told you how much it meant to me the fact that you stopped and took time to talk to me, it's one of the sweetest gestures someone has ever done for me, and the fact that you were a stranger blew my mind. We met again in a pub, New Year's Eve night, one of the best nights of my life, if not the best since our daughter was created" she says gently running her hand up and down her belly and u can't help to watch her doing so "the moment I knew about her I was happy but scared of your reaction, truth is I should have never been scared, I knew I could trust you with my life the moment I told you I was pregnant and it was yours, your eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. I love you Chris and I always will, I can't wait to see what the future still holds for us" she finishes as tears spill from both our eyes and the majority of the people in our backyard
"Chris..."Ryan says
"Emma, my love, as cliche as it sounds the moment I met you I knew you were a wonderful person. I met you in a hard moment in your life and I witnessed your strength and fell in love with you, really hard and really fast. They day you told me about our little angel I admit I was scared, I still am and I think it's normal, but I was and still am and always will be so ecstatic about it. You gave me two things that lately I was worried I would never have in life, two things that have been my dream for so, so long. You are one of the two things Emma, I would have never thought to have a woman beside me like you, who can comprehend me, support me and love me like you do, and our princess is the second one. Settle down, having a wife and kids has been my dream since I was a teen and thanks to you my biggest dream is becoming true. I love you Em, and always will" I say letting her wipe away my tears as I smile at her
"Those were lovely vows. Now, do you Emma Wyler, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, to live together in matrimony, to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold, from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?"
"I do"
"Do you Christopher Robert Evans, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to live together in matrimony, to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold, from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?"
"I do"
"Emma and Chris have chosen rings to exchange with each other as a symbol of their unending love" he says calling for Ethan who has the ring Emma will give me and Miles who has the one I'll give Emma.
"As you place this ring on Chris's finger, please repeat after me. With this ring, I thee wed and pledge you my love now and forever"
"With this ring, I thee wed and pledge you my love now and forever" she says sliding the golden band on my left ring finger
"Chris, as you place this ring on Emma's finger, please repeat after me. With this ring, I thee wed and pledge you my love now and forever"
"With this ring, I thee wed and pledge you my love now and forever" I say doing just the same
"By the authority vested in me by the State of Massachusetts, I now pronounce you husband and wife! You may kiss your bride" Ryan says looking at me
With a hens on her belly and the other on her cheek I bring Emma in a sweet loving kiss
"I love you" she says against my lips before pulling apart
"Love you too baby"

A bunch of congratulations and hugs come our way as we walk around the garden.
Emma finally meets my father, she met the kids before she walked out of the house to reach me.
We let them take some photos of us before we both go change into more comfortable clothes, especially Emma and start eating form the buffet my mother and sisters placed on the porch.

*Emma pov*

The ceremony was wonderful, the kids looked so cute and Dodger with that matching bow tie he had with Chris was absolutely adorable.
Chris and I already had our dance and my father and I and as well as me and Matt danced on the soft tune of my mom's favorite song.
We ate quite a lot, and now it's dusk, Chris hugging me from behinds as we gently sway form left to right, his hands always on my belly, while we talk with our parents.

"Tired baby?" He asks later when it's ten pm and Carly already went home with her husband and kids, his mom wanting to help cleaning up and my father joining her even tho we told them that we'll do it in the morning...
"A little, but I think I still have some energy for a little love making with my hot husband" I say turning in his arms and winking at him
"Oh is that so?"
"Yeah..." I whisper
"Very well then...sexy wife" he says smirking back at me "wait for me upstairs, I'll make sure everyone leaves the house in the next five minutes"
"Ok"

As told I'm waiting in our bedroom, still in my party dress cause I know how much he wants to take it off of me, and just as promised after five minutes Chris walks in
"What did you tell them?"
"That I needed to take care of my wife"
"Chris!" I say slapping his muscular chest
"What?" He says laughing "by the way Scott is staying at ma's and is keeping Dodger with him for the night"
"What are we waiting for, then?"
"Oh I love the way you think Mrs. Evans!"
"And I love the way that sounds Mr. Evans!"
