Wolf (Lloyd x Reader)

Continuing On

I woke up and stretched. I wagged my tail when I saw Lloyd was awake. He smiled tiredly. "Morning, Y/n," he said.

>How long have you been awake?< I asked.

He shrugged. "A few hours."

I looked around. >Where are Luka and Kimberly?<

"Hunting."

>Oh.< I tilted my nose into the air and sniffed. I could smell them and a small amount of blood. I tilted my ears forward and heard them walking back. The smell of blood was getting closer. >They're coming and they're bringing their kill.<

"Why?"

>I told you we were going to have to hunt sometime.< I yawned. >We need the protein.<

Lloyd sighed. "Alright." He paused. "Are you going to eat it raw or cooked?"

I gave him a doggy grin. >Raw. You don't have to watch me eat it.<

"Okay, but what did they catch?"

I inhaled. >Deer. Yum.<

Luka came first carrying the carcass. "Are you hungry?"

I wagged. >Yes.< I glanced at Lloyd. >He's going to want some cooked.<

Luka nodded and cut it up. Then put it in a pot that just appeared suddenly from his coat. I ripped off a piece for myself, trotted off a little distance, and began to eat. "How come you had Luka carry the deer?" Lloyd asked Kimberly.

She scowled. "He wouldn't let me carry it."

"That would have been ungentlemanly," Luka answered.

I let out a short bark of laughter. >Since when does a man act gentlemanly?<

Lloyd smiled. "Since the man likes the girl."

Luka blushed. "I don't like Kim that way!"

Lloyd snorted. "Then you would have let her carry it."

Kimberly frowned. "He's a prince. I'm just a lowly vampire."

I shifted. "You don't have to be a princess for him to like you," I said gently. "The only thing that matters is love."

Luka handed Lloyd the cooked meat. "Can we talk about something else?"

I shrugged and shifted. I tore off another piece of meat and ate it. "You can have the rest of the carcass," Kimberly said. "I think Lloyd has enough."

>Thanks.< I ate until I was full. By that time Lloyd was done eating and had packed up the tent and stuff. 

"Let's go," he said.

I sniffed the air then sneezed. >I don't think we need to.<

"Why not?" 

I took up position in front of Lloyd and growled. >Because the King is coming to us.<

"What?!?" Kimberly yelped. She turned to Luka. "Your supporters aren't here."

>They're here.< I said. >They came with him along with his people. They're acting like they're on his side.<

"What about the Ninja?" Lloyd asked.

I inhaled trying to sort out the scents. I sneezed. >I can't tell if they're there because the scent of the bloodsuckers is overwhelming.< 

The Vampire King stepped out into the open. His eyes landed on Luka and Kimberly. "I see you've betrayed me," he said calmly.

"We didn't betray you, Father," Luka said coolly. "You aren't ruling correctly."
