you guys wake up and it's 5:30 in the morning. baby spencer is crying. you get up and go to his room to get him. you grab the bottle on the bedside and sit in the rocking chair. you quietly shush him and give him his bottle. he's turning 2 soon, and you're trying to get him off the bottles but it's not working. spencer came in the room and saw you. you had fell asleep while rocking the baby. spencer took the baby, he placed him in the bed. he placed the bottle on the nightstand and carried you to bed.

you guys woke up a few hours later to go to work. you guys didn't have a new case yet until your mom called you.

"hey mom, what's up?" you said so cheerfully.

"honey... spencer is missing.." she said tearing up.

your heart sank. you had to remain calm because you didn't want to put more stress on yourself because of the new baby. you haven't told anyone yet, especially spencer.

"emily, could you come here please?" you said putting your phone in your pocket.

"what's up kid?" she said playfully hitting your arm.

"baby spencer went missing." you said tearing up a bit.

"WHAT?!" she shouted and then everyone came over.

"what's wrong?" spencer said coming to you.

"n-nothing." you said smiling.

"no. something's up." JJ said.

"baby spencer is missing." emily said.

spencer gave you this look. like you've never seen him before.

"guys would excuse us for a second?" spencer said.

"of course." luke said.

now it was just you and spencer alone. he grabs you by the shoulders and shakes you.

"y/n, come on! why didn't you tell me, huh? i married you because you were different! we don't keep secrets!" spencer said.

"let me go! seriously, what the hell? i love you so much, and i just didn't know how to tell you okay? god." you said tearing up.

"im so sorry, okay? i love you." spencer said pulling you in and kissing you.

"now, let's go find our son." spencer said.
