I finally got her to kiss me, but it was only for a few seconds. Sophie pulled apart from me and started to run but then smashed into someone with a dark cloak. Sophie slowly looked up to see my mom. She tried to scramble away from her, but my mom grabbed her.
"Now, Keefe, If you want anything to happen to your precious girlfriend, you'll cooperate, okay?" Gisela said. I knew she would do this.
"Keefe, n-" Sophie shouted, but Gisela covered her mouth.
"It's your choice Keefe. Follow me, and I'll leave Sophie and the Blackswan alone," If I did this, the Lost Cities would be safe again. No one would be in danger. Everyone could go back to their normal lives. Also, Gisela found out about Alluvetere, which meant no one was safe in this hideout. I opened my mouth to say something, but I heard a yelp. Foster started to levitate and I could see red rimmed on her eyes. She started to inflict on Gisela, my mom writhed in pain. It came to a point where she fell unconscious, but Foster kept going.
"Foster! Stop!" I shouted, but she kept going. I needed her to switch her enhancing off, so I could send the breeze.
"SOPHIE!" I screamed. She looked at me with pure anger, but then she floated down and stopped her inflicting.
"Can you switch your enhancing off for me?" I whispered. She nodded. I took her hand and sent the calming breeze. Her face relaxed, but then she started to cry. I held her close to me, not letting go until her shaking stopped. She started to say something, but her voice was muffled. I could still make it out though.
"Keefe, this means your mom will go to Exile and have a memory break,"
K, not a cliffie not a long chapter, but it's still a really good ending. Things will move on pretty fast from here, but it will include something Sophie has been to many times.
