It had been twenty minutes and the girls still hadn't shown up. I was getting really worried. What if my mom somehow escaped? What if Foster got kidnapped again?
"Where are they?" Dexy groaned. Ritz laughed. I liked the nickname Sophie said when she called Fitz a human snack so I decided to keep calling him that.
"We'll get them if they don't show up in another five minutes," Ritzy said. As if on cue, six girls glittered under the leapmaster, but Biana, Marella, Linh and Foster all had grim faces. All of the girls all made up after the Neverseen were gone. I guess the Neverseen really made our lives harder. It's hard to believe that they're all gone. Especially my mom. The sound of crunching leaves drove me back into reality and the sight of Foster made my jaw drop open. I thought she was going to wear red, but instead, she wore an ice blue dress tightly fitting her body. The moonlight made her look like she was glowing, and she probably was. She walked up to me with a steely expression.
"Foster... you look beautiful," I know I always brag to Sophie about the effect I have on her. But the effect she has on me is something different. It made me want to kiss her right then and there.
"There's something we all have to tell you guys," She announced. I tried to compose myself from being a lovesick puppy and put on a smirk.
"Elysian was Jolie," I heard many gasps and and the girls all looked shocked. Sophie started to explain everything that happened with Biana or Marella chiming in at times. At the end of it all, everyone was speechless.
"That's... a lot to take in," Bangs Boy said.
"I know, but for now, let's just enjoy the remaining time we have at the Foxfire dance," Biana said, walking up to Dex and taking his arm in her's. Dex's face flushed and he planted a kiss on her forehead. Who would've thought Dexy would like a Vacker?
"So Foster, would you like a dance?" I asked, turning to Foster. She blushed and took my extended hand. We glided through the hall and went to the dance floor where some slow music was playing. It didn't sound elvish, so Sophie must've recommended something. I gently grabbed Sophie's waist and she wrapped her arms around my neck. She leaned her head against my shoulder as we swayed with the song. (This is sounding really sappy, but I like it!)
"Keefe?" Sophie murmured.
"Yeah, Foster?"
"Have I ever told you what a good boyfriend you are?"
"... No,"
"Well, this isn't going to be the last time Keefe. I love you and I can't believe you like me of all people," I let go of her waist and took her face in my hands making her gaze up at me. I smirked a little, thinking about how much taller I was compared to her.
"Sophie, there is no girl better than you in my eyes, and I would love you no matter how you are. You're the only person who can understand me, and I will never, ever leave you. Never,"
And with that, we kissed, right under the glowing stars above us.
YES! I'M BACK FROM MY CRUISE TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so much fun and I met a lot of people, but I'll never see them again 😭😭😭, but I still got their contacts! Can you believe I survived two weeks without any internet???? That's a really good achievement! This chapter was just something my mind has been on, and I wanted to give it to you Keefesters.
