Without hesitation, he made his way to the mirror on his bedroom wall: his entire face dropping. He pressed his index finger to his deep, crimson lip as you admired your work.He paused momentarily, before his eyes glanced back at you: "I look-.."
"Good?"
"Hot!" A surprisingly genuine small sprawled on his teeth as he prodded his face with his fingers, "I'd tap that."
"Of course you would." You sarcastically responded whilst walking over to him; he wrapped his arm around your shoulder.
"Do you think I should keep it on for tonight?"
You scrunched your nose, giving him an unsure expression as you became confused on what Connie was talking of.
Connie cringed whilst narrowing his brow: "Please don't tell me you've forgot.. I told you all about it on the drive here yesterday!" His golden eyes shot you a glare as you awkwardly smiled: he rolled his eyes in return whilst slapping his forehead, "We were gonna drive up to visit some of my friends from highschool tonight. You still want to, right?"
"Of course. I'd love to meet your friends!"
Connie smiled widely, displaying his pearly teeth: "Cool.." He attempted to display a calm exterior despite having an obvious excitement on his face, "There should only be about ten people there max. Jean said he'll try and make it, too. They're all really excited to meet you!"
You glanced up at him, "You've told your friends about me?"
Connie offered you an almost surprised expression, as if taken aback by what you had asked him: "Of course I have. They know all about you."
"You better have told them all good things."
"Don't worry, there's nothing bad about you that I could've told them, anyway." Your project Partner placed both palms against your shoulders with a warm expression plastered on his face, "Don't worry, there won't be many people there. It'll be a quiet, fun night."

"Connie?"
"Mm?"
"I thought you said that this was going to be a quiet night."
You both stood outside of a large house with music flooding from the entrance; overflowing with young adults who were drunkenly dancing to the booming music.
Connie shrugged innocently, "I thought it was."
"Sure you did." Your E/C Eyes rolled back into your head as you began to storm forward into the house, feeling as Connie's hand grasped onto yours so that you wouldn't lose each other.
"Come on, Y/N." Connie enthusiastically chirped with a spreading smile, his fingers interlocked tightly with yours, "The more the merrier, right? It'll be fun!"
Despite Connie jokingly suggesting to keep the makeup on, he'd washed it off in the shower soon after you applied it; Connie wore a plain outfit - just baggy, black trousers, a loose, white shirt, a black jacket and matching, black and white sneakers. Not expecting it to be such a big party, he chose comfort over fashion - although, he still looked extremely good.
You both entered the large house with your arms linked together. You were instantly greeted by swarms of strangers who tipsily swayed to the beat of the music; many hugged Connie, making small conversation like 'how's it been?' whilst you idly watched.
Connie was extremely well-adapt in social settings.
You admired it and envied it at the same time. He had the type of personality (not to mention confidence) to get along with almost anyone: not to mention, people became swiftly attracted to his easy-going personality and charming sense of humour.
Although, throughout all of these small conversations, Connie kept his hand against the bottom of your back: it was like he was reminding you that he knew you were there, and that he wasn't forgetting about your existence.
Yourself and Connie slipped past the main entrance, attempting to make your way towards the kitchen before being stopped as you heard a deep voice sing from the living room, an abnormally forced high pitched voice doing background vocals beside them.
"Please don't tell me that's them.." Connie began to smirk before pushing the door open.
As the door opened, you were welcomed by the stench of alcohol and what seemed like hundreds of people watching Jean and Sasha sing karaoke together on the dining room table.
"Oh. My. God." Connie cackled, slightly pushing you along to avoid the scene - not wanting Sasha to drag him into the mess her and Jean were performing for everyone to see.
You laughed gently as Jean pointed to the crowd, obviously already having had a shot for confidence as he and Sasha performed 'Backstreet Boys' for a large crowd.
Neither of them were in key, Jean especially who was attempting to sing in falsetto; they both laughed through lyrics with a proud smile before awkwardly dancing the embarrassment away.

Yourself and Connie were sat outside after an hour passed, sharing a can of Coke between you both. The dark starlight was falling against you both, highlighting tue features of both of your faces.
Connie sheepishly tugged at the end of your sleeve, turning his head to see you: "Thank you for coming here with me tonight."
You shook your head with an unsure glance, "You don't have to thank me, I'm glad you invited me."
Connie bashfully beamed whilst sitting closer to you, you innocently rested your head against his shoulder: "Still.. thank you." He practically whispered, his voice so low and quiet it was difficult to make out amongst the loud partying, "I was really nervous about coming tonight. I was really nervous about.. seeing certain people."
"Certain people?" Your interest peaked.
Connie swallowed, regret filling his solemn expression that he had even mentioned something: "Eh-.. nevermind, just forget I said anything."
And that was when you heard a pretty voice behind you suddenly gasp:
"Connie?"
