From the time Ivy was born, she has lived in pure hell. She has never met people like her aunt and uncle, but they were all she had left besides her twin. Yet, she was very quiet and liked to stay to herself. Her brother would speak up and protect them, but yet, there were times she felt like he was only protecting her because they are siblings. "Ivy?"

"Hmm."

"I'm not protecting you because of being your brother. You're my best friend, Ivy and nothing will tear us apart." He tells her. "I love you, Ivy."

"I love you, Harry."

"Wake up! Wake up!"

Ivy looked at her brother. "One of these days, Dudley will eventually fall through those steps if he doesn't stop jumping on them."

Harry laughed as the twins walked out of their little room to start the day. A day of nothing but chores and listening to insults.

Later that day, Ivy was sitting in the small closet that she calls a room to read. She knew about Dudley's presents, but the thing is, the spoil brat didn't get one extra gift this year. She could hear him from the room causing her to shake her head. "Spoil rotten brat. Thinks he should have one more each year." She mumbled. "Mummy and daddy can't afford much anymore. There are two more people!"

Hearing someone hit the door, the young redhead caused the lights to flicker causing her to smirk. "What just happened?"

"Oops." She said as she went back to her book hoping that one day, she finds her safe place.

Harry wondered if that was his sister as he knew she has a temper, but knowing that they were going to the zoo meant they had to go too and Ivy was not going to like it. "I'll talk to my sister."

"Talk to me about what?"

Harry turned and looked at his sister as Petunia always looked at Ivy differently as she always seen Lily in Ivy. Even down to her temper. Harry went over to her as Dudley watched them. "Mummy, do you think she will be okay with this? She scares me."

"I'm not going to celebrate that spoil brat's birthday! We don't celebrate ours because they don't give two shits about us, Harry!" She stated as she looked at them as the three looked at her terrified. "I wish for us to finally get away from these people, but that will never work as we have no one!"

"Ivy..."

"No!" She screamed causing a lamp to break. "I'm done with this conversation! I wish for mum and dad to be alive. Where we can be well taken care of and not deal with these block heads." She let a tear out. "If you want to, then go." She cried. "I'm not going."

"You can't be alone, Ivy." Petunia stated. "As much as you act like your mother, there are laws..."

"Maybe they should see how you two treat us. We are under weight, we barely get to eat because of the neglect, we don't get new clothes, I'm a girl not a boy! There are things I need too and do I get them? No. I would love to talk to the police."

Vernon sighed. "Let's go, girl." He stated. "I will make sure you and Harry get your own rooms and clothes."

Ivy didn't say anything else as she just walked back to the closet. Harry looked at them to see tears in Petunia's. "Mum acted like that?"

"Yes." She stated as she walked away.

Harry wondered if this trip would make his sister happy, but he knew, it will always be them and no one would ever save them. They have no friends. They only have one another and that was it. One thing did bother him, did Ivy cause the lights to flicker and a lamp to break?

Ivy found a bench to sit on causing the Dursley's and Harry to watch her. She made it clear that if Dudley stays out of her way, then she will be good, but if he does something to piss her off, she won't hold back. Harry looked at his sister as she opened the book she has been reading over and over again for the past 6 months, but that was all she had.

Why do I wish for someone to save me like in this book? To love me for me and treat me like I should be treated.

Sighing, Ivy looked away from the book to see a snake in front of her. "Hi."

"Hi."

She looked at Harry shocked causing him to nod. The snake could talk to them. The redhead watched as he slithered away just for her to hear banging on glass. Curious as to what was causing the noise, she found Dudley inside the snake exhibit causing her to laugh as Harry smiled. "Potters!"

"I hate that man."
