Chapter 7 - Friends

What friendship is ever perfect that answer is none of the above. Because if life were perfect my friends would still be here and I'd still be in California with them. But again I'm not which means life and the world is in fact not perfect at all. Which gets me back to my point of friendships not being perfect what so ever. I knew a few kids on the rez but not many and they was okay for me. I knew Jake or Jacob who was basically family because of the relations to each other. He tended to make it obvious to others he had a cousin who was in his friends eyes "hot as hell". No I did not decide to go to forks high school for various reason I'll explain here soon.

One it was a hassle to drive there and back so early in the morning. Two I'd have to wake up super early to be able to even get there just in time. Three I didn't have family there even if Bella was there and trust me I felt bad for making her go alone. Although I had Jacob and Embry plus quill who was a complete flirt the entire time. They were  close knit community and I really enjoyed it until people noticed I was new to town. I knew a lot of things that they had been teaching here at La push but one thing I learned about the town was this. There was a said to be cult that consisted of three people so far. Sam uley who was the leader and first one to act strange and then return to school.

Two Jared Cameron who was all over some girl named Kim like they were love sick puppies. And three Paul lahote who was a hot headed person who slept around before he joined Sam's cult. Whether it's true as to being a cult I'm not so sure but we're going with it for now. Embry calls them hall monitors on steroids but that's besides the point. I don't pay much attention to the group because well they aren't my type of people. Then again nor is Jacob and his sophomore friends me being a senior and everything. It was shitty and Sam didn't even go to the school anymore. Paul was going to graduate soon as well and so was Jared eventually that is. He was a junior as well which meant I was stuck here in this town for the next months of school.

I of course would hang out with Bella on occasion but she too had gained her own friends. And that's where I was at the moment gaining my own friends other then my distant cousin Jacob black.

"So newbie what's your name?" A girl asked as she sat at the lunch table I decided to take up after school one day

"Trinity Greenwood and you?" I asked looking up

I saw a beautiful woman not a girl that's for sure, she had deep chocolate colored eyes. That when the sun hit you could see deep into them perfectly. She had shoulder length black hair and beautifully tanned skin.

"Names Leah Clearwater" she said sticking her hand out

"Seth happen to be your brother?" I asked

"Yep here to pick the little guy up" she said and took a seat across from me

"Rumors go around pretty quick in town don't they" I laughed

"Yeah they do" she said with sad eyes

"So I heard from a little bird that you and Sam were once a thing" I said

This caught her attention and she scoffed before growling softly.

"He was supposed to marry me and then ditched me for my cousin" she snapped

"Oh damn I'm sorry that sucks" I said

"I like you, I think we can be friends" she smiled

"Leah hey I was looking for you" Seth came bounding into the room

He was too enthusiastic and energetic for my liking not that it wasn't sweet it was just over the top sometimes.

"Hey Seth let's get going" Leah said

"Nice seeing you Seth" I waved

"Nice to see you too trin" he said

"I'll see you around yeah?" Leah asked

"Yeah I live close to Jacob's blacks place" I said

"Right heard your a distant cousin or something" she said

"Yeah I am" I said

"Trinity what are you waiting for?" Jacob asked

I looked up to see Jacob and quill but no Embry at the moment. I shook my head and stood up, we walked to school every day unlike some people. It wasn't too bad of a walk nor did it bore me especially when you see the forest as you walk. I ignored the boys conversation as I walked slightly behind them feeling as though I was being watched. I took a deep breath feeling something in my shift and I hated it. I felt as though my body was on fire and it absolutely sucked because my body got sore suddenly. I ignored it and kept walking until I reached my lovely home and bed. I felt like I was sweating so I ripped my sweats off and put on shorts and a shirt.

"Hey honey you okay?" Mom asked when she saw me in just a shirt and shorts

"I don't know I'm really hot and my body suddenly hurts" I groaned in pain

"Let me take your temp" she said but when she felt my body her eyes widened and she pulled back quickly

"Just stay here okay" she said

"Mom what's happening why do you look freaked out?" I asked

"Damn it your father isn't answering the phone" she snapped while ignoring my question

It was like something snapped inside and I was angry all of the sudden.

"What's going on stop lying now" I shouted causing her to jump back in fear

"Your umm I need to get billy I'll be back" she said and rushed off
