I groaned in pain as i shifted positions in my bed when I heard a familiar female voice arguing with someone.
"What are you doing here Sam?" Leah shouted
"She's sick you can't visit her" Sam said
"Fuck you now get out of my way" Leah snapped
I groaned and stood up, mom had left to go somewhere most likely a clients house call so I was home alone. Well other then the two yelling outside the front door of my house that is.
"Sam I told you to leave me alone" I snapped gaining their attention
"Oh you look like shit" Leah said
"I feel like shit, now Sam leave, Leah stay" I said
"Trinity she can't stay and you know that" Sam said in a warning tone
"Your not taking me away from my damn friends now leave before I make you" I snapped
"You heard her" a voice said that I didn't recognize but it was music to my ears
I pulled Leah inside causing her to hiss at the feeling of my burning up skin on her cool temp body.
"Maybe Sam was right, your literally a furnace right now" Leah said
"Please don't leave me" I whimpered softly
"Come on let's get you to bed then" she said walking me back towards my room
Once inside she helped me back into bed and took a seat on the window seat that I had facing towards me.
"So when did this start?" she asked
"Hours ago after I left school and met you" I said
"Trinity that was almost two days ago" she said
"Not possible, Sam, Jared and Paul were just here I swear I didn't sleep that long" I said panicked
"Hey it's okay you probably slept for a few hours and forgot about it being Tuesday now" she said
"What no that can't be right" I said shaking my head
"Look at the date on your phone then" she insisted
When I checked the home screen it in fact said it was Tuesday and not late in the day Monday. No, it was almost Wednesday even and that's how I knew I wasn't simply sick that's for sure.
"Leah whatever happens in the next two weeks please don't hate me for it, blame someone else because I hate this" I said
"What are you talking about?" she asked with a nervous look in her eyes
"Trinity are you home?" Bella's voice called out
"In here" I called out
"I was nervous you made plans with me and I haven't seen you" Bella said as she entered the room
"Maybe I should go" Leah said softly but loud enough to hear
"Just remember what I said please" I told Leah as she left
"I will" Leah said and left
Bella came further into the room and took a seat on the chair at my desk that was in the corner of my room.
"I see your sick, did you want me to come back later?" she asked
"You won't see me for a while...what's that smell it's awful" I growled
I looked at her and her eyes widened for some odd reason, but she brushed it off but deep down I knew.
"Umm sorry maybe my perfume doesn't sit well with you and being sick, sorry I'll go" she said in a hurry
That's when it clicked it wasn't perfume not at all far from it even, it was a scent that I picked up. It wasn't a human scent nor was it a wolf or shapeshifter scent, it was a vampires scent. Bella was human which means she's been hanging around vampires, but who could that be. I felt another wave of pain shoot through me, but this time my arm twisted into a new position causing me to scream out. I looked down and felt my leg reposition itself causing me to scream for a second time when someone rushed inside. They were warm and cozy, but their temp wasn't overwhelming my when it touched me.
"Hang in there princess" a new voice said
"It hurts just make it stop" I shouted and gripped onto them
"I know sweetness but you need to be patient and hold on for a few more seconds okay" he said
"Okay" I whispered and melted into him
suddenly I felt wetness beneath me and opened my eyes to see the grass beneath my body. I began panting and screamed when yet another bone broke, but more voices filled my ears.
"Who the hell are you?" Paul shouted at the new voice
"I can't explain that right now, wait until she phases will you" the new voice snapped back
"Ahhh, please make it stop" I growled
"Princess I need you to focus and let the wolf in, let the beast free from your body it's the only way to make the pain go away if you let it in" the new voice said
"O...Okay" I stuttered
I did as told closing my eyes as my bodies bones broke and repositioned themselves into new ways. Eventually everything stopped, time, sounds, the pain all of it just stopped and I was left trying to catch my breath. When I opened my eyes everything was brighter, things smelt better and ten times stronger than before. I looked down and saw I was in fact turned into a wolf, my fur was a reddish black color. I looked up and when my eyes connected with unfamiliar ones it was like the world stopped. It was him and I, flashes of our future together just as when I looked at Paul. I felt the same things I felt for this stranger as I did for Paul which made absolutely no fucking sense.
He stepped forward causing me to look at him oddly as he placed a hand on my head and began to rub my ears getting me to purr.
"That's it princess you did good, now for me to be able to explain who I am, I'm going to need you to shift back okay" he said
His eyes were captivating and I got lost in them as I found myself nodding in reply to he request.
