Chapter 8

Alaskas POV-

I sit there throughout the rest of the class doing the same thing. Writing.

Actually not just writing. Writing songs. I used to have a actual reason for writing them but i don't anymore.

As soon as the bell rang i grabbed my journal and my bag and quickly started walking out of the room.

"Alaska" I hear Calum call out to me and i sigh and stop walking.

"Where were you going so fast?" He asks and the same guys i saw with him during dance came over too.

"I don't even know. I just wanna go home" I say and sigh.

"You can ditch you know" he says.

"Oh yeah I'm gonna ditch and fly all the way back to New York. Why didn't i think of that earlier?" I say my voice full of sarcasm.

"Oh so your a New York girl?" Luke asks.

I had heard Calum say his name so i finally learned his name.

"Are you fucking serious Luke?" Calum asks.

I roll my eyes "Bye" i say and walk away from them and walk outside and sigh knowing that they are following me.

My phone goes off and its my dad.

"Hi dad" i say.

"Hi sweetie. Your gonna be alone for the next month. Your mother and I have to go to New York" he says.

"You have got to be mother fucking kidding me. Fuck you. Oh and id be ready to replace my phone" i say rather loudly and throw my phone across the parking lot.

"Alaska are you okay?" Calum asks.

"Go away" i say and start walking to my car but Luke grabs my arm.

"What do you guys want?" I ask turning to look at them.

"Look we know its hard being in a new place but lighten up. We have a lot of fun here" Luke says.

"No you know where i have fun? In New York with my friends and my band members. How about you pack your shit and move all the way around the world. Then you'll understand how this is. You have not fucking clue. So dont even say you do because it just makes you look stupid. Got it?" I say talking really fast and he lets go of my arm.

"Got it" he says walking away hurt.

I quickly go to my car and just sit there close to crying.

Lukes POV-

"No you know where i have fun? In New York with my friends and my band members. How about you pack your shit and move all the way around the world. Then you'll understand how this is. You have not fucking clue. So dont even say you do because it just makes you look stupid. Got it?" Alaska says talking really fast looking at me with so much hurt in her eyes. I let go of her arm.

How could one girl just go through all that. I don't get it.

"Got it" i say looking at her then walk away.

I notice Michael and Ashton coming after me but i leave them quickly. I get in my car and driive home.

Calums POV-

"No you know where i have fun? In New York with my friends and my band members. How about you pack your shit and move all the way around the world. Then you'll understand how this is. You have not fucking clue. So dont even say you do because it just makes you look stupid. Got it?" She says rather quickly and Luke removes his hand from her arm.

What the hell is happening?

"Got it" Luke says and walks away and not missing a beat Alaska does to.

Really what the fuck just happened here.

I see Lukes car leave but Alaska just sits in her car with her head on the steering wheel.

Michael and Ashton go back inside after Luke drove off and i was just standing there alone.

I walk over to Alaskas car and the closer i got the more it looked like she was crying. When i was about 5 feet from her car i was sure.

I could hear a faint cry from her car and i just frowned. I'm sure that's not how anyone wants to be during the day.

I go over and knock on the car door. She slightly opens it.

"Please go away" she says in a soft voice full of pain.

"Alaska please. Don't lock yourself away from us. I know we just met but that doesn't mean we don't care" I say and she looks up at me.

Her makeup was ruined and she had tears running down her face. Poor girl.

"Calum p-please just go to class" she says.

"Not until you stop crying and come back inside" i say softly and wipe her tears. "I know that it sucks having to be here but there's a huge prank going on next hour and its supposed to be awesome" i say and she laughs softly.

"Fine" she says and quickly fixes her make up.

I smile a little looking at her.

She gets out "thank you Calum" she says and we go inside together.
