I walk up to the teacher and sigh slightly.
"Um Hi I'm Alaska your new student" I say slightly awkward and the teacher looks at me and smiles.
"Hi Alaska I'm Mrs.Hood. Ive heard a ton about you. All good things too my Dear. The girls locker room is just down that hall, so you can change and then we will begin class." Mrs. Hood says.
"Thank you Mrs. Hood." I say and walk down the hall too the locker room and change.
I change into my sports bra and black leggings that I had in my dance bag and I pull my hair into a ponytail and sight.
After I changed I walked back into the studio.
"Alright class this is Alaska she is new here so everyone please make her feel welcome." Mrs. Hood says. "now let's start class." she says.
I start stretching and sigh.
Mrs.Hood comes up to me. "So I talked to your old couch in New York and she said you were working on a solo piece for competition" she says.
"Yes I was but obviously I'm not going to competition anymore" I say and sigh.
"Well we have competition in a month and we would love to have you in it. I've seen many of your solos and group work and their are amazing." she says.
"I would love too" I say and finish stretching.
"Great you can work on your solo in class today" she says.
"Okay thank you Mrs.Hood" I say and start working on my solo.
